HHS: Illegal Alien Child Rapist Received Thousands in Taxpayer-Funded Medicaid Benefits

In a shocking revelation, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has disclosed that Jose Trinidad Arreola-Ortega, a 38-year-old illegal alien from Mexico convicted of raping a young child in Kentucky, received nearly $7,300 in taxpayer-funded Medicaid benefits. This case directly contradicts claims made by Democrats and establishment media that illegal aliens are unable to access such benefits.

U.S. Deputy Secretary of Health and Human Services Jim O’Neill shared the disturbing details on social media, pointing out that despite Arreola-Ortega's serious conviction, he was able to secure significant taxpayer-funded healthcare. O’Neill also emphasized the ongoing debate over funding for illegal aliens’ benefits, noting that Democrats are demanding continued Medicaid funding for individuals like Arreola-Ortega as a condition for reopening the government and paying federal workers.

Arreola-Ortega was arrested in June 2024 in Jessamine County, Kentucky, by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents after being convicted of child rape. His access to Medicaid benefits, despite being a criminal illegal alien, raises serious concerns about the effectiveness of current immigration and public assistance policies.

O’Neill, frustrated by the situation, criticized the Democrats for pushing for taxpayer-funded healthcare for criminal illegal aliens, including murderers and rapists. He also pointed out the irony that Democrats are willing to withhold pay from American workers in government agencies to secure these benefits. “To get their way, they’re making scientists and others at my department work without pay by shutting down the government,” O'Neill added.

Earlier this month, House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) falsely claimed that illegal aliens cannot access taxpayer-funded healthcare like Medicaid. This case highlights the stark contrast between the narrative promoted by some lawmakers and the reality of how illegal immigration is impacting U.S. taxpayer resources.

The situation has sparked a renewed debate over immigration, public assistance, and government spending, with critics demanding stricter regulations to prevent criminal illegal aliens from receiving taxpayer-funded benefits.
