You can’t make this stuff up. Just two days after a Biden-appointed judge handed a slap-on-the-wrist sentence to the man who tried to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, police in Washington, D.C., arrested a man with over 200 explosive devices outside a Catholic church hosting a Supreme Court event. But sure, the “threat to democracy” is conservatives, right?
According to police and court documents, 41-year-old Louis Geri from Arizona and New Jersey was taken into custody outside the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle on October 5 — the same day the church held its annual “Red Mass,” a tradition where Catholic leaders pray for Supreme Court justices as they begin a new term. Historically, conservative justices like John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett attend this Mass. This year, none did — reportedly due to security concerns. And now we all know why.
When officers approached Geri, who was camping out in a green tent on the church steps, he told them, “You might want to call the federales, I have explosives.” Classy. He went on to threaten officers, saying he had “a hundred plus of them” and even bragged about throwing a bomb into the street as a “demonstration.” When police insisted he move, he threatened that “several of your people are gonna die from one of these.”
Officers later recovered a manifesto titled “Written Negotiations for the Avoidance of Destruction of Property via Detonation of Explosives,” where Geri expressed hatred toward the Catholic Church, Jewish people, Supreme Court justices, and ICE agents — the usual targets of today’s unhinged left-wing extremists. According to police, his tent contained a “large cache of handmade destructive devices” — over 200 explosives, many filled with nitromethane and thermite-treated rocket heads, designed for remote detonation.
So much for the “peaceful” protesters we keep hearing about.
Authorities charged Geri with a laundry list of crimes, including possession of a weapon of mass destruction, threats to kidnap or injure, assault on police, hate crimes, and resisting arrest. He’s being held without bond.
Let’s pause and remember — this comes just days after Biden’s own Judge Deborah Boardman gave Nicholas Roske, the man who tried to kill Justice Kavanaugh, only eight years behind bars. The sentencing guidelines called for 30 years to life, but apparently, the “Biden Justice Department” had other priorities. Prosecutors had warned that going easy on Roske could encourage more attacks on justices — and here we are.
Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) has already called for Judge Boardman’s impeachment, and honestly, can you blame him? When you reward attempted assassins with light sentences, you invite chaos.
For years, Democrats and their media allies have demonized the Supreme Court’s conservative justices — smearing them as “illegitimate,” “extremist,” and “dangerous.” Is it really surprising that their rhetoric is inspiring violent lunatics to act?
But here’s the truth the mainstream media won’t admit: while the left talks about “threats to democracy,” the real threat is sitting in a tent with 200 bombs, holding a lighter, and preaching hatred toward faith, justice, and America.
Thankfully, this time — unlike 2022 — no one was hurt. The police did their job. But this should be a wake-up call. Because as long as leftist judges and politicians keep treating political violence with leniency, it won’t be the last time we see someone try to blow up democracy — literally.
Stay strong, stay vigilant, and keep praying for our Supreme Court and for the brave men and women who protect it. ??
