MSNBC host Jen Psaki had an awkward on-air moment Wednesday when she accidentally lumped President Donald Trump in with “predators” tied to Jeffrey Epstein—then immediately scrambled to walk it back. Because nothing says “objective journalism” like casually tossing out a smear and then pretending you didn’t mean it.
While speaking with Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., about newly released Epstein-related emails, Psaki referenced “other predators” connected to Epstein “in addition to Trump.” Realizing what she had just implied, she quickly corrected herself. “Not that — I’m not saying he is. We don’t know all the details about that,” she backpedaled, trying to untangle the knot she’d just tied on national television.
She continued by clarifying she meant “in addition to what we’ve learned about Epstein and others,” noting there are other predators out there. Garcia enthusiastically agreed—naturally.
Psaki did not respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment. Shocking.
The controversy came after Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee released tens of thousands of pages of documents related to Epstein. Among them were emails referencing Trump. One 2011 email from Epstein to Ghislaine Maxwell claimed Trump had spent an extended period at his home with an unnamed victim—whom the White House confirmed was Virginia Giuffre.
Epstein wrote, “I want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is Trump. [VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him, has never once been mentioned.” Democrats immediately seized on this, with Garcia arguing the emails suggest Trump had a closer relationship with Epstein than previously known.
During his conversation with Psaki, Garcia accused Trump of “hiding” details to protect powerful men allegedly involved in abuse. He went as far as claiming Republicans and Mike Johnson are “complicit” in what he describes as Trump’s supposed effort to conceal the truth. Strong accusations, especially considering Democrats’ long history of selective outrage.
The White House, however, wasn’t having it. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt accused Democrats of leaking documents to smear Trump. She pointed out that the “unnamed victim” was Giuffre—who repeatedly said Trump was never involved in any wrongdoing and was always kind to her. Facts that, of course, didn’t make the MSNBC broadcast.
Leavitt also reminded the public of something the media conveniently forgets: Trump kicked Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep toward female employees, including Giuffre herself.
Despite the media’s latest attempt to manufacture a scandal, the truth remains intact. And as always, the more they try to tear Trump down, the more obvious their desperation becomes—a good sign for those of us who still believe in honesty, fairness, and a strong America.
