Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) didn’t mince words when he appeared on Newsmax Tuesday night. After reports surfaced that Biden’s FBI allegedly spied on eight Republican senators — yes, sitting U.S. lawmakers — Tuberville said what every honest American is thinking: someone needs to go to jail.
The bombshell claim came from Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), who revealed that the Biden administration’s intelligence agencies targeted GOP senators as part of an “election-related investigation.” Grassley called it “worse than Watergate.” Think about that — the same people who claim to defend “democracy” are apparently weaponizing federal power to monitor their political opponents. Sound familiar?
Tuberville didn’t hold back. “Somebody needs to go to jail, somebody needs to be indicted,” he told host Chris Salcedo. “We’ve got to do something up here. This place is rotten to the core. It’s running on borrowed time.”
Hard to disagree. When the federal government — the same one that covers for Hunter Biden’s laptop, turns a blind eye to open borders, and locks up January 6th protesters — starts spying on elected senators, you know the swamp has gone full septic.
Tuberville said he was shocked to hear that it wasn’t a foreign adversary behind the spying, but our own intelligence agencies. “When they start spying on senators, I thought it would be China, Iran, Russia, or North Korea,” he said. “But when your own country comes after you, you’ve got problems.”
Exactly. For years, Americans were told that Trump was the “threat to democracy.” Yet under Biden, political surveillance, censorship, and intimidation have become standard operating procedure. You can’t make this up.
Tuberville ended with a call to action, saying President Trump’s 2024 victory is crucial to saving the nation from a “deeply politicized federal bureaucracy.” He’s right again. Because if the FBI can spy on senators today, imagine what they can do to everyday citizens tomorrow.
The bottom line? It’s not “democracy” when the ruling party uses federal agencies as their personal hit squad. It’s corruption — plain and simple. And as Senator Tuberville said, the time for talk is over. It’s time for accountability. Jail the people who did this, drain the swamp for good, and restore the rule of law that America deserves. ??
