The Democrats Are Letting Antifa Run Wild — and President Trump Is Right to Send in Federal Troops to Restore Order

It’s déjà vu all over again. The black-clad anarchists of Antifa — the so-called “anti-fascists” who behave like street fascists — are back at it: smashing windows, torching cars, ambushing police, and attacking journalists. These are the same radicals who terrorized our cities five years ago under the pretext of “justice,” when the death of George Floyd became their excuse for open insurrection.

And, once again, they’re being coddled by Democrat mayors and governors who’d rather virtue-signal than protect their own citizens.

Back in 2020, ordinary Americans watched in horror as blue-city mobs torched neighborhoods and looted small businesses while Democratic officials told police to “stand down.” Store owners from Madison Avenue to Minneapolis boarded up their shops — not because of “right-wing extremism,” but because of Antifa’s organized mayhem.

Now that Donald Trump is back in charge, the mask is off — literally and figuratively. Antifa has declared war on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the federal agents who are trying to clean up Joe Biden’s border disaster. These men and women are risking their lives to deport criminal illegal aliens — the same kind of predators Biden welcomed into this country with his open-border agenda.

And what are Democrats doing? Calling ICE “Nazis,” refusing police backup, and essentially handing the streets over to Antifa’s thugs. Chicago’s J.B. Pritzker and Portland’s far-left leadership have turned law enforcement into a punchline, replacing real cops with politically correct placeholders who watch helplessly while masked rioters direct traffic and terrorize the public.

President Trump isn’t having it. At a White House roundtable with Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Kash Patel, and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, he made it clear: the days of tolerated terrorism are over.

“These are agitators, anarchists — and they’re paid,” Trump said. “We are going after Antifa criminals and all who fund and support their campaigns.”

That’s the key. Antifa isn’t just a random collection of angry kids with flagpoles — it’s a funded, organized network. And as Trump hinted, those funding streams lead back to some very familiar, very wealthy names. As the president put it, “probably some of the people I know, some of the people I dine with.”

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, alongside the FBI and Homeland Security’s special task force, is reportedly tracing those funding mechanisms — and the results, when revealed, will likely expose just how deep this rot goes.

Meanwhile, the situation on the ground shows the extent of the rot in Democrat-run cities. Independent journalists like Nick Sortor and Katie Daviscourt — both of whom attended Trump’s Antifa briefing — are being attacked in broad daylight while the police look the other way. In Portland, Daviscourt was assaulted with a flagpole, while Sortor was shoved into a ditch, arrested, and charged with “disorderly conduct.” His only crime? Defending himself.

The local DA eventually dropped the charges, acknowledging the obvious — but the message was clear: if you stand up to Antifa in a Democrat city, you’re the one who’ll be punished.

It’s a disgrace — and it’s exactly why President Trump is right to deploy federal forces to reestablish order.

Let’s be honest: the Democrats need chaos. They’ve turned Antifa into their unofficial street militia — a mob to intimidate their political opponents and destabilize communities that dare to resist their ideology.

But this time, it’s not going to work. Trump Mark 2 isn’t playing defense. He’s designating Antifa a domestic terrorist organization and treating it accordingly — dismantling its networks, freezing its assets, and arresting its enablers.

As Secretary Noem said bluntly:

“They are just as dangerous as MS-13, ISIS, and Hamas. They have an agenda to destroy us, and today we have a president who will fight for the American people.”

That’s the difference between Trump and the Democrats. While they bend the knee to chaos, he stands up for law and order. While they make excuses for criminals, he defends the cops, the business owners, and the families trapped in these broken cities.

The battle lines are clear now: law versus anarchy, patriotism versus decay.

And for once, America has a president who isn’t afraid to choose a side — our side.
