Zogby Poll: Trump Surges as Democrats’ Impeachment Dreams Collapse

The latest Zogby poll just handed Democrats a reality check they didn’t want: President Donald Trump’s approval is back on the rise, hitting 46% in August. Translation? All that impeachment chatter has fizzled out, and the left is left with… nothing.

According to John Zogby Strategies, Trump got a significant bounce during Congress’ August recess—a time when Democrats failed to push any meaningful agenda and the media frenzy over Jeffrey Epstein faded. As pollster Jeremy Zogby put it: “He’s bounced back.”

This turnaround is particularly striking because, earlier in the summer, Trump’s numbers had dipped. Historically, presidents see some decline after the “honeymoon” period, but Trump has once again defied expectations by rallying support just as Democrats thought they had him cornered.

Even John Zogby himself, a Democrat, admitted the obvious: “At 46%, that is not an impeachable president.” In other words, their fantasy of ousting Trump is dead on arrival.

The survey of 1,000 likely voters didn’t just show Trump’s resilience—it revealed the Democrats’ collapse. Their chances of retaking the House or Senate in the midterms look grim. On the five issues voters care about most, Democrats only edge Republicans in one category: healthcare. Everywhere else, they’re losing ground badly.

And why? Voters are fed up with the party’s obsession with Trump and its radical drift into urban socialism. Former Democrats who left the party made it clear: they bailed because the party is “too woke” or because its only agenda was attacking Trump. That’s not leadership—it’s a pity party.

Zogby even warned Democrats they could be heading into another “political purgatory,” just like the 1970s when they chose George McGovern and handed Richard Nixon one of the biggest landslides in U.S. history.

The message is clear: Americans are tired of woke politics and endless Trump-bashing. They want solutions, strength, and results—and Trump is once again proving he’s the one delivering them.
