Jasmine Crockett went on an anti-Charlie Kirk tirade, labeling him a “Confederate” with “harmful rhetoric.” Yes, at the very moment America was mourning his assassination, Crockett decided it was time for cheap shots. Classy, right?
When host Dana Bash pressed her on why she voted against a resolution condemning Kirk’s murder, Crockett whined about being joined by “only two caucasians” and doubled down with more smears—this time dragging both Charlie Kirk and President Donald Trump into another Hitler comparison. Because apparently, that’s the only play in the Democrat handbook.
CNN senior political commentator Scott Jennings wasn’t having it. His response started with three words every viewer needed to hear: “Well, she’s lying.” Jennings made it clear: “Charlie Kirk targeted nobody. He was not racist in any way. I’ve listened to hours of Charlie Kirk debates, did events with him, knew him. There wasn’t a racist bone in his body.” Exactly. Anyone who actually heard Charlie instead of caricaturing him knows this.
Jennings called out the malicious smear for what it was: “To say he was continuously targeting people of color is nothing but a malicious smear on the very day people are remembering Charlie.” He also noted the hypocrisy of Democrats like Ilhan Omar and Jasmine Crockett, who lecture about “turning down the rhetoric” while throwing gas on the fire.
Let’s not forget: Crockett has a long record of inflammatory nonsense. She’s compared ICE to “slave patrols,” defended comparing Trump to Hitler, claimed his supporters were mentally ill, and even mocked Gov. Greg Abbott for being in a wheelchair. This isn’t “passion”—it’s pure spite.
Scott Jennings said what many Americans are thinking: enough with the lies, the smears, and the hypocrisy. While patriots gather to honor Charlie Kirk’s life and mission, Democrats like Crockett are showing us who they really are. And frankly, it’s not a good look.
