These individuals, with rap sheets including heinous offenses such as manslaughter, attempted murder, and sexual assault, represent precisely the threat President Trump pledged to eradicate, making communities safer across the nation.
Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Secretary Markwayne Mullin underscored the impact of these vital operations, declaring, "America is now a safer place with these criminals out of our country. DHS is delivering on President Trump’s mandate from the American people to deport illegal aliens and make America safe again. Deporting illegal aliens saves lives." This isn't just rhetoric; it's a clear demonstration of law and order actively working for the American people.
Among those expelled was Jonas Perez-Rodriguez, an illegal alien from Mexico and a confirmed Surenos gang member. His criminal record paints a grim picture, featuring convictions for manslaughter, drunk driving causing bodily injury, and aggravated assault by an inmate. Such individuals pose an undeniable threat that the America First administration has steadfastly prioritized removing.
Another Surenos gang member, Jhony Mejia of Honduras, was also deported. Mejia’s history includes convictions for attempted willful murder, inmate in possession of a sharp instrument, and obstructing a public officer—a stark reminder of the violence festering within our borders if left unchecked.
The dragnet also snared Jose Enrique Galindo-Arteaga, a Paisas gang member from Mexico, convicted of sexual assault. Joining him was Carlos Narciso Villarreal, a Bloods gang member also from Mexico, whose record details convictions for attempted breaking or entering and possession of stolen goods.
Villarreal's troubling history extends further, with arrests for domestic violence, assault on a female, breaking and entering, and injury to personal property—a pattern of disregard for law and order that demands firm action.
Rounding out the list of dangerous deportees was Miguel Andres Veras Martes, a Trinitarios gang member from the Dominican Republic. Martes faced convictions for manufacturing, delivering, and possessing with intent to distribute Schedule I and Schedule II controlled substances, alongside charges for carrying dangerous weapons and/or substances while committing a violent crime, reckless driving, and receiving stolen goods.
These decisive actions by ICE, under the guiding principles of the America First movement, underscore a fundamental truth: securing our nation means holding accountable those who would violate our laws and threaten our safety.
