DHS Raid Exposes Biden’s “8,000 New American Jobs” Fantasy at Georgia Hyundai Plant

So much for Biden’s big promise of “new American jobs.” Remember when he proudly bragged in 2022 about Hyundai’s $10 billion investment in Georgia, claiming it would create more than 8,000 “American jobs”? Well, turns out those jobs weren’t so “American” after all.

Homeland Security Investigations just hit Hyundai’s under-construction battery plant near Savannah, Georgia, with a massive raid. The result? 475 illegal workers—primarily from South Korea—were arrested. And before the White House starts spinning, let’s be clear: this wasn’t some random hiccup. This is the direct result of the sloppy, wide-open border and the Democrats’ refusal to enforce the law.

Hyundai rushed to cover itself, telling Fox News Digital that none of those detained were “directly employed” by them. Of course, the magic phrase—subcontractors. How convenient. Hire through layers of middlemen, look the other way, and then act surprised when hundreds of illegals show up on-site. Classic corporate denial.

Even Georgia’s Republican Governor Brian Kemp once touted the project as a win for the state, praising the “momentum” of the investment. Momentum, sure—but for who? Illegal laborers and shady contractors, not American workers.

Let’s not forget—this isn’t the first time federal authorities have uncovered disturbing worksite abuses. In California, Democrats threw a fit over raids at a cannabis farm, only for investigators to discover children working there. But hey, “compassion” first, right?

The truth is, Biden’s so-called “green jobs” miracle is just another mirage. The reality? Illegal labor propping up massive taxpayer-subsidized projects while law-abiding Americans get sidelined. Thankfully, Trump’s policies are still making an impact through aggressive enforcement. These raids prove that when we take the law seriously, corruption and exploitation can’t hide behind glossy press releases.

Here’s the bottom line: if you want real American jobs for real American workers, you need strong borders, tough enforcement, and leadership that puts citizens first. And that’s exactly what President Trump delivered—and will deliver again.
