WASHINGTON, DC – Democrats love to lecture everyday Americans that noncitizens voting is a phantom menace, a right-wing conspiracy theory conjured up out of thin air. Funny how that phantom keeps multiplying every time someone actually checks the registry.
In New Jersey, Democrat Governor Mikie Sherrill was dragged into admitting that the state's dirty voter rolls included 6,600 noncitizens registered ahead of the 2023 and 2024 elections. Out of those, roughly 340 foreign nationals actually went on to cast ballots in elections. And those are just the numbers the leftist governor has reluctantly provided while attempting damage control.
Unsurprisingly, state officials have been less than cooperative when asked for the receipts. As Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters pointed out, election officials are hiding the exact records that would reveal how this systemic failure happened in the first place. The RNC is taking these left-wing officials to court to demand transparency, because Garden State voters deserve the absolute truth.
Whenever the Sherrill administration offers updates, the situation only looks worse. Subsequent reviews uncovered hundreds of additional improperly registered individuals, including dozens who were actively serving sentences in prison for indictable offenses. While state bureaucrats try to spin these cascading blunders as administrative victories, the New Jersey Assembly GOP rightly noted that residents deserve a full, honest accounting—not another self-serving press release.
This is far from an isolated glitch; it is part of a national trend. The Department of Justice recently announced charges against 16 more individuals—including an illegal alien—tied to fraudulent voter registrations and illegal voting schemes across the nation. Meanwhile, North Carolina election officials revealed they are sending letters to nearly 1,400 registered voters identified as potential noncitizens. As North Carolina State Board of Elections Executive Director Sam Hayes stated, while these represent a small percentage, one ineligible registrant is still one too many.
Despite mounting evidence and data from a Reuters review showing states have quietly added over 30,000 noncitizens to voter databases since 2000, establishment politicians in Washington continue to stall. The vast majority of Americans—including more than 80 percent of New Jersey residents in recent polling—overwhelmingly support requiring photo identification and documentary proof of citizenship to register and vote. Yet Democrats in Congress and weak-kneed Senate RINOs flatly refuse to pass the SAVE America Act.
Every single illegally cast ballot robs the rightful vote of a legal American citizen. The left would rather protect systemic voter roll loopholes than secure the integrity of the ballot box, leaving conservative patriots to demand accountability and defend the fundamental principle that American elections must be decided solely by American citizens.
