Iran, seemingly determined to escalate regional tensions despite clear warnings from the United States, has launched a reckless assault on Kuwait. This latest act of aggression follows a series of attacks on other sovereign neighbors, including Jordan, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

In the early hours of Thursday, Iran unleashed missiles and drones targeting U.S. assets within Kuwaiti territory. Fortunately, Kuwaiti forces successfully intercepted the barrage. Kuwait's Ministry of Defense swiftly condemned the incident as "blatant Iranian aggression," a sentiment echoed by its Foreign Ministry, which branded it a "direct threat."

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expresses the State of Kuwait's condemnation and strongest denunciation of the repeated heinous Iranian aggressions against the country, the latest of which occurred at dawn today, in flagrant violation of its sovereignty, a direct threat to its security and stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents on its territory, and a grave breach of the rules of international law, the United Nations Charter, and Security Council Resolution 2817.

The Ministry reiterates its affirmation that the continuation of these brazen aggressions reflects a hostile approach, constitutes a dangerous escalation that threatens the security and stability of the region, and systematically undermines diplomatic efforts aimed at de-escalation and reducing tensions.

The Kuwaiti Ministry confirmed it reserves the right to respond to this clear violation of its sovereignty.

This dangerous round of hostilities began when Iran attempted to disrupt commercial shipping by deploying mines in the vital Strait of Hormuz. President Trump's administration wasted no time, neutralizing the threat by striking Larak Island. Iran's subsequent attacks on its neighbors were met with a powerful, broad-based U.S. response against numerous Iranian sites. Washington has also implemented a decisive "tanker for tanker" policy, ensuring that for every commercial vessel Iran targets, one of its own will suffer the consequences.

President Donald Trump had already made it abundantly clear that the U.S. was prepared to inflict substantial "pain" on Iran, proudly detailing the American strikes.

"It was a very heavy attack last night, and we’re prepared to do another one anytime we want," Trump stated, sending an unmistakable message of American resolve.

Trump highlighted America's unparalleled technological superiority, asserting, "We have technology that's incredible. Nobody has technology like we have. So, we hit them hard last night, very hard. They gave a little love tap, but we hit them very hard."

"We took out all of the new equipment that they tried to build along the Strait of Hormuz, some defensive, some offensive."

It appears the Iranian regime, despite President Trump's unequivocal warnings and decisive actions, is determined to choose "pain" over peace. This consistent aggression by Iran underscores the critical need for unwavering American strength on the global stage, a cornerstone of the America First agenda. Only through firm leadership and a clear readiness to defend our allies and national interests can we deter such rogue behavior and ensure stability in a volatile world.
