It turns out everyday Americans in Baltimore neighborhoods are saying something the media doesn’t want to admit: Trump’s crime crackdown is working, and they want more of it.
Former CNN host Don Lemon hit the streets of Baltimore and actually heard locals say they would welcome federal troops in their neighborhoods. Why? Because while liberal politicians wring their hands about “optics,” people living with sky-high crime just want safety, justice, and peace of mind.
When Trump announced he would deploy National Guard troops and take control of the D.C. Metropolitan Police, Mayor Muriel Bowser whined about federal overreach. But funny enough, after seeing an 87% drop in carjackings, even she had to concede that Trump’s plan was delivering results. Numbers don’t lie—Democrats usually do.
One Maryland woman told Lemon she lost her husband to a carjacking right outside their home, and the killer was never caught. Her message was simple: “I want justice.” She, like many others, believes Trump’s approach could finally bring accountability where the system has failed.
Another man, a Trump supporter, cut straight to the point: “All these killings, all the drugs… Send the troops to straighten everything out… make Baltimore great again.” Sounds a lot like common sense—and something the left refuses to try.
Even a local man in Muslim attire, on his way to prayer, told Lemon he wasn’t opposed to Trump’s plan. He called the current crime “atrocious” and said troops on the ground would be “a breath of fresh air.” Imagine that—people from different walks of life actually agreeing that law and order is better than chaos.
Trump himself didn’t hold back: “Chicago is a hellhole right now. Baltimore is a hellhole right now. We have a right to do it because I have an obligation to do it to protect this country.” That’s the difference—while Biden Democrats make excuses, Trump makes things happen.
And clearly, the people living in crime-ravaged communities aren’t just ready for the change—they’re begging for it.
