When Democrats show their true colors, America should believe them. This election cycle has laid bare the disturbing reality of America-hating socialists securing primary victories, hoping to expand their radical agenda within Congress. The venom from the progressive left was never more evident than in the aftermath of the September 2025 assassination of Turning Point USA co-founder Charlie Kirk, a conservative beacon taken far too soon at just 31 years old during a Utah Valley University event. We witnessed radical leftists – including those in positions of education, healthcare, and even elected office – openly celebrating Kirk's murder, with some even suggesting this horrific act shouldn't be the last.
Fast forward ten agonizing months, and the preliminary hearing for Kirk's accused assassin, Tyler Robinson, is now underway in a Provo, Utah courtroom. In an astonishing display of courage and resilience, Charlie's wife, Erika Kirk, has faced Robinson for the first time, enduring what are undeniably the darkest days of her life alongside other grieving family members. They sit through testimony, knowing deeply painful details will emerge, including gruesome footage of the assassination itself.
One might assume that during such a solemn and painful proceeding, basic human decency would prevail, and a measure of grace might be extended to the Kirk family. But apparently, common sense needed a permission slip from Michigan Democrat Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed's campaign. Known for its pro-Hamas and anti-American stances, El-Sayed's campaign chose this profoundly inappropriate moment to lash out at his opponent, Democrat Rep. Haley Stevens (MI-11), for daring to show a shred of empathy.
Stevens' offense? Supporting a congressional resolution that honored Charlie Kirk's legacy and condemned his assassination. El-Sayed's campaign, in a truly vile move, posted a tweet attacking her for this act of basic human compassion, proving once again that for some on the radical left, hatred for conservatives trumps even the most fundamental tenets of human decency.
Predictably, this depraved display did not go unnoticed, sparking widespread condemnation and reminders of El-Sayed's own disturbing positions.
As one poignant response summarized:
And there it is. The radical left's animosity, laid bare for all to see, even in the face of tragedy and deep personal grief. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the moral abyss into which some within the Democratic party have descended. It’s a testament to the America First movement that we continue to stand against such vileness, demanding accountability and exposing the true nature of those who would rather attack the memory of a slain patriot than show common decency. Remember these actions, and remember them decisively in November.
