Radical Democrat Blames Israel for Jew-Hatred, Rewrites History of Deadly Terror Attack

A chilling narrative is emerging from the far-left fringe of the Democratic Party, now dangerously close to mainstream power. Colorado socialist congressional candidate Melat Kiros, fresh off a primary victory, recently made the stunning assertion that Israel’s actions in the Middle East are directly "putting Jewish people in great danger" and inspiring attacks on them globally. This audacious claim, seemingly designed to shift blame from perpetrators of antisemitic violence, came during an interview this week. Kiros, a 29-year-old radical, unseated a long-serving incumbent in her Denver-area district, part of a troubling wave of anti-Israel, far-left candidates gaining traction within the Democratic Party. This surge, as described by Fox News' Laura Ingraham, aims to "dismantle America" and reshape the political landscape with extreme ideologies like abolishing ICE and advocating "Medicare for all." Radical socialist surge aims to 'dismantle America,' Laura Ingraham says Colorado Attorney General Phil Weiser, a Democrat who also won his primary for governor, publicly expressed "real concerns" about Kiros's rhetoric, particularly regarding her hesitation to unequivocally condemn a deadly firebombing at a pro-Israel rally in Boulder last year as antisemitic. When pressed by a 9News host on whether she would meet with Weiser to discuss his concerns, Kiros readily agreed, then immediately doubled down on her controversial stance. "Absolutely," she stated regarding a meeting with Weiser. "You know, at the end of the day, what happened in Boulder was a horrific attack on a group of Jewish people that were peacefully protesting, and we are seeing that the actions of Israel are putting Jewish people in great danger. And the hate and the antisemitism that's rising as a result of it is one that I have every intention of prioritizing and combating." Melat Kiros Kiros’s attempts to reframe the Boulder attack are particularly disturbing given the facts. The June 1, 2025, attack, which tragically killed 82-year-old Karen Diamond and injured a dozen others, targeted a pro-Israel demonstration. The perpetrator, Mohamed Soliman, disguised himself as a gardener before hurling two flaming projectiles at innocent demonstrators, according to prosecutors. Soliman pleaded guilty in May to state charges, including murder, and was sentenced to life in prison with no chance of parole. While he expressed regret for his crime, he denied being motivated by hatred of Jews, instead launching into what The New York Times described as a "rambling diatribe against Zionism, which he described as 'the enemy.'" Federal hate crime charges, which could carry the death penalty, are still pending. A terrorist throws a Molotov cocktail into a group of pro-Israel marchers in Boulder, Colorado This isn't Kiros's first foray into controversial historical revisionism. She previously claimed the 9/11 terror attacks were "inevitable" due to U.S. foreign policy, echoing a dangerous sentiment often used to deflect blame from radical Islamic terrorists. Her campaign successfully centered on an anti-Israel platform, with her victory speech featuring a pledge to "end the genocide in Palestine"—a term widely used to demonize Israel and often associated with antisemitic narratives. Colorado Attorney General Philip Weiser The rise of figures like Melat Kiros signals a profound and alarming shift within the Democratic Party, embracing ideologies that threaten to undermine American principles of freedom, truth, and support for our allies. When domestic antisemitic acts are twisted to blame a sovereign nation, and radical narratives gain political victories, it becomes clear that the fight for common sense and American values is more critical than ever.
