Screaming silence: House Democrats Caught Squirming Over Radical Socialist Plan to Abolish Presidency, Senate, and Supreme Court

A chilling blueprint for fundamentally dismantling American governance, laid out by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), has forced prominent House Democrats into an awkward dance of denial and deflection. The radical new platform calls not just for sweeping changes, but for the outright abolition of core U.S. institutions: the Senate, the presidency, and the Supreme Court.

As the DSA's "Workers Deserve More" agenda gained attention, reporters pressed key Democratic figures on their stance. The responses offered a glimpse into the party's uncomfortable relationship with its increasingly extreme far-left flank.

Representative Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California, appeared to distance himself from the proposals, stating with feigned ignorance, "I don’t support that. I haven’t read the proposal." This despite the DSA's growing influence within the Democratic Party and their recent successes in primary elections, pushing out more moderate voices.

The DSA's revised platform is startlingly clear. It envisions entirely abolishing the Senate and replacing both the President and the Supreme Court with an executive branch and judiciary that would be elected by and entirely subordinate to a unicameral, proportional legislature. This isn't reform; it's a complete structural overhaul that would fundamentally alter the checks and balances integral to the American republic.

The radical wish list doesn't stop there. The "Workers Deserve More" program also demands the complete abolishment of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), calling for an "immediate end to all deportations" and even advocating for pardoning all immigrants, including those who have committed serious crimes. Furthermore, it pushes for extending full voting rights to convicted felons and non-citizens, and easing virtually all restrictions on international migration – a blueprint for open borders and chaos. Adding to the audacity, the agenda calls for defunding what it refers to as the "Department of War."

When confronted by Fox News Digital regarding this extremist agenda, Representative Ilhan Omar, a Minnesota Democrat known for her progressive leanings, simply dodged the questions, refusing to engage with the substance of the plan.

Representative Pete Aguilar, another California Democrat, followed a similar playbook of denial. "I'm not a member of the DSA, so I can't comment on any documents that they put out," Aguilar claimed. This response, however, rings hollow given the DSA's explicit requirement that candidates seeking their endorsement must "accept and promote DSA’s program, and align their own campaign platforms with its contents to the best of their ability."

This isn't a mere policy suggestion from an external group; it's a set of demands that socialist candidates are expected to uphold. It raises serious questions about the true allegiances of Democrats who benefit from DSA support, even as they attempt to plead ignorance about its most destructive proposals.

Despite the increasingly radical trajectory of a significant portion of the Democratic Party, Aguilar dismissed any concerns about the wave of far-left candidates complicating the party's agenda. "I look forward to working with all our colleagues who run as Democrats," he stated, seemingly content with the progressive takeover.

Rep. Pete Aguilar questions U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth during a hearing at the U.S. Capitol on June 10, 2025 in Washington, DC.

The evasive answers from House Democrats expose a troubling reality: a powerful, vocal segment of the American Left is openly advocating for the destruction of foundational American institutions, national sovereignty, and the rule of law. The fact that mainstream Democrats either feign ignorance or outright welcome this influence underscores the existential threat these radical ideologies pose to the future of the Republic and the America First principles that uphold our nation.
