Even CNN couldn’t cover this one up. In a rare interview, an alleged Sinaloa Cartel leader admitted point-blank that President Trump’s border and immigration policies are making it harder for the cartel to operate. When asked if Trump’s actions were making his job tougher, the masked cartel boss didn’t hesitate: “Oh yeah. Yeah.”
That’s right — straight from the mouth of a confessed killer and trafficker. The same gang that once answered to El Chapo is feeling the heat from Trump’s aggressive stance on border security and drug trafficking. And it’s not just about the drugs. Cartels are now charging migrants up to $10,000 to cross into the U.S., compared to $6,500 before Trump’s policies. In other words, the business of human smuggling is drying up, and the cartels are being forced to squeeze harder just to survive.
CNN’s own reporter, David Culver, got the cartel boss to admit that coordinating killings and smuggling operations has gotten more complicated under Trump’s rules. That’s exactly what Americans were promised — and it’s exactly what’s happening. While Democrats whine about “compassion” and “equity,” Trump’s approach is literally choking off the profits of the most dangerous drug empire in the Western Hemisphere.
The irony is rich. Here’s a cartel leader, dressed in black gloves, sunglasses, and a mask, admitting he’s killed people and smuggled countless others — and even he is praising Trump’s effectiveness. He warned others not to join the cartels, calling it “not a life” and admitting once you get in, you can’t get out. Hardly the glamorous image Hollywood or the leftist media like to push.
And this isn’t the first time. Former cartel insider Margarito “Jay” Flores Jr. also credited Trump’s policies for sending a “strong message” to traffickers across Latin America. Even criminals recognize strength when they see it.
Meanwhile, reports suggest the U.S. is preparing to expand its fight against cartels, even targeting their operations in Venezuela. That’s the aggressive, America-first approach that actually keeps drugs and criminals out of our communities.
The bottom line? Trump’s crackdown is working so well that even the cartels are admitting it. And when the bad guys are complaining, that’s how you know America is winning.
