As the midterm elections loom, the mainstream media echo chamber is buzzing with polls that seemingly paint a grim picture for Republicans' chances of holding the House of Representatives. Pundits and talking heads, ever eager to push a narrative, are largely predicting a Democrat takeover. But House Speaker Mike Johnson isn't buying it, and he's not alone in his America First optimism.
Speaker Johnson, a steadfast conservative leader, recently appeared on Fox News with Shannon Bream, offering a refreshing counter-narrative to the prevailing gloom. He laid out compelling reasons why the GOP is poised to defy these biased forecasts, asserting that the polls are fundamentally flawed.
During his conversation with Bream, Speaker Johnson didn't mince words:
Shannon Bream: Joining us now, with an optimistic take, despite the polls, is House Speaker Mike Johnson. Welcome back, Mr. Speaker.
Speaker Mike Johnson: Hey Shannon, good to be with you.
SB: OK, so let's talk through a couple of our new Fox News power rankings. We've got this, when it comes to the House, 219 seats solidly Democrat, 198 Republican, and that puts 18 as tossups. Also in our power ranking, this is a forecast, for election night, if things go really well for Democrats, they end up with 237 seats, a good GOP night, our forecasters have as 219 for Democrats, meaning you'd still be in the minority, in either scenario. You say those predictions (are) wrong. Why?
MJ: Those polls are wrong. They're based on faulty analysis. Look, in the last week, Shannon, you've had two polling organizations nationwide be exposed for completely fraudulent numbers, and the more traditional researchers, and poll organizations, are not acknowledging that they are under sampling Republicans. In fact, CNN ran a story less than a week ago and they said 14 out of the last 16 October polls, in those elections, they under sampled Republicans by an average of four points. Republicans are no longer responding to polls. Look, I'm going all around the country, Shannon, I've been in 21 states, 39 districts, just in the last three weeks. I'm going to the swing districts, places where we're going to flip blue seats to red. And we're having hundreds of people turn out for these events, it's excitement level like 2024, and this is what I do. When I'm these big arenas, Shannon, I ask for hands. Show me your hand if you've answered a poll in the last six months. They will be like three hands, among 300 people. I'm telling you, these polls are off. All of them. Because they're using faulty analysis.
Johnson's insights cut to the heart of a recurring issue: the systemic underestimation of Republican support by pollsters, often operating with a noticeable left-leaning bias. He highlighted that multiple polling organizations have been "exposed for completely fraudulent numbers" and that even "traditional researchers" are failing to account for the crucial detail that Republicans are increasingly distrustful of and unwilling to participate in these polls.
The Speaker's firsthand account from the campaign trail offers a stark contrast to the narratives pushed by corporate media. Traveling through 21 states and 39 swing districts, Johnson reports "hundreds of people turn out for these events," generating "excitement level like 2024." This grassroots energy, often unseen or ignored by the establishment, is a powerful indicator of genuine voter sentiment, far removed from the manipulated data of faulty polls.
Indeed, since 2016, we've repeatedly witnessed pollsters get key elections spectacularly wrong, particularly when it comes to accurately assessing the strength of the America First movement. The chattering class loves to dismiss conservative enthusiasm, but the reality on the ground, as Speaker Johnson bravely confirms, tells a different story.
While optimism is a powerful tool for leadership, and Johnson certainly exemplifies it, the ultimate triumph will depend on unwavering resolve and a massive turnout. Midterm elections are fundamentally about getting out the vote, and as Americans head to the polls, their mission is clear: to win, and to win beyond the margin of fraud.
This election isn't just about holding seats; it's about safeguarding the principles of common sense, freedom, and American values against the radical left's agenda. Every vote cast is a defiant stand for our nation's future. It’s coming down to the wire. Vote! Vote! Vote!
