The very same voices, including Newsom's, who championed and defended now-former President Joe Biden through years of undeniable cognitive struggles, now suddenly discover the 25th Amendment.
The Republican National Committee didn't hold back, hitting the nail on the head: "You literally propped up a vegetable and lied to the American people about his cognitive decline for four years and never mentioned the 25th amendment once." And somehow, they still expect Americans not to notice the blatant double standard.
Trump's speech, the supposed catalyst for Newsom's sudden constitutional concern, focused on critical election integrity issues. He highlighted newly declassified documents revealing foreign data theft by China, long-known election vulnerabilities within the U.S. government, and new evidence of "election fraud."
