The Mask Slips: Shocking Poll Reveals Nearly 60% of Democrats Embrace Radical DSA Agenda to Dismantle America

A new Quinnipiac University poll has pulled back the curtain on the Democratic Party, revealing a truly alarming statistic: nearly 60 percent of Democrats now openly support the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA). This isn't just a fringe element; this is the majority of the Democrat base endorsing an agenda designed to fundamentally reshape — and ultimately dismantle — the American system as we know it.

The poll, conducted between September 3rd and 6th, asked respondents directly if they considered themselves a "supporter of the Democratic Socialists of America." The results are stark: a staggering 59 percent of Democrats said "yes," compared to just 30 percent who said "no." For context, a mere 2 percent of Republicans claimed support for the DSA, with 96 percent flatly rejecting it. Among independents, 22 percent sided with the socialists, while 70 percent did not. These numbers leave no room for pretense; the Democratic Party's socialist leanings are now undeniable.

The DSA's platform isn't merely progressive; it's a blueprint for radical transformation. Their recently released agenda explicitly calls for drafting "a new constitution" and creating "a democratic socialist republic." This isn't reform; it's revolution. They demand the abolition of the Electoral College and the replacement of the President and Supreme Court with an executive and judiciary chosen by and "subordinate to Congress." This isn't a tweak to the system; it’s a direct assault on the separation of powers and the very foundations of our Republic.

But the DSA's extremism doesn't stop there. They are pushing to "demilitarize police departments, disempower police unions, and redirect funding to public services as steps toward fully abolishing the police and prison system." They also advocate for abolishing ICE, "legalize[ing] migration, grant[ing] amnesty for all immigrants regardless of status, provid[ing] a path to citizenship for all permanent residents, and end[ing] visa caps and quotas." In other words, open borders and a society without law enforcement as we understand it. Because, apparently, common sense needed a permission slip.

Perhaps most chilling is the silence and complicity within the Democratic Party's elected ranks. Out of more than 250 Democrats in Congress, only a paltry 10 have signed onto a coalition opposing rising socialism and communism. These brave few, in their "Promise to America," declare fundamental truths like "We are capitalist, not socialist" and "We want safety, not lawlessness." The fact that over 95% of their party colleagues refuse to make such basic commitments speaks volumes about the true state of the Democratic Party today.

This radical shift isn't a sudden hijack; it's the logical conclusion of policies mainstream Democrats have been advancing for years, just with slightly more polished rhetoric. Consider the Electoral College: former Vice President Kamala Harris and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton have both publicly called for its abolition. Democrats have also widely supported the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact, an unconstitutional pact designed to sidestep the Electoral College altogether. Virginia’s Democrat Gov. Abigail Spanberger recently committed her state to this very pact, demonstrating how far this radical idea has permeated.

The same pattern emerges in immigration. While the DSA demands open borders and amnesty, mainstream Democrats have long insisted on pathways to citizenship for illegal aliens. Kamala Harris declared in 2017 that "an undocumented immigrant is not a criminal… Give people a path to citizenship. The vast majority of folks we’re talking about are living a lawful life and paying taxes." And, of course, Rep. Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., famously declared, "Let me be clear: No human being is illegal." The DSA simply takes these positions to their natural, and destructive, conclusion: no need for ICE or deportations. Funny how that always seems to happen in one direction.

The DSA is simply the unvarnished truth of what mainstream Democrats have been pushing, albeit with more polite language: destroying immigration enforcement, dismantling police and prisons, and abolishing the very Constitution that underpins our freedom. When 59 percent of their voters embrace this, the Democratic Socialists are no longer a 'fringe' faction; they are the heart of the party, its voters, its candidates, and the logical endpoint of its agenda.

Democrats can continue to pay lip service to "moderation" to try and win general elections, but true moderation requires drawing a clear line in the sand. It demands opposing radicals who openly seek to scrap our Constitution, erase our borders, and dismantle our law enforcement. Yet, as the numbers clearly show, today’s Democratic Party is largely unwilling to draw that line. They’re not just close to the socialists; in their core ideology, they are one and the same. America deserves better than a party that has abandoned common sense, national security, and constitutional principles for a radical socialist pipe dream.
