Trump Bombs Drug Cartel, MSNBC Guest Sides With the Traffickers—You Can’t Make This Up

Only in today’s upside-down political world could President Donald Trump take decisive action against drug-trafficking terrorists—and watch MSNBC guests trip over themselves to defend the criminals. Yes, that actually happened.

On Tuesday, Trump announced that U.S. forces sank a vessel belonging to the Venezuelan cartel Tren de Aragua, killing 11 verified cartel members. These aren’t innocent fishermen—they’re part of a violent, drug-running terrorist organization responsible for flooding our communities with poison. For most Americans, this is exactly what a commander-in-chief should be doing: crushing cartels before their product ever hits our streets.

But on MSNBC, Paul Rieckhoff, founder of Independent Veterans of America, called it “alarming, unprecedented, and dangerous.” He whined that Trump is “overextending” the military and claimed that “American troops could have died.” Funny, because no U.S. forces were harmed, and the operation was carried out in international waters with overwhelming force. In other words, a textbook win.

Meanwhile, Trump was crystal clear on Truth Social:

“No U.S. Forces were harmed in this strike. Please let this serve as notice to anybody even thinking about bringing drugs into the United States of America. BEWARE!”

That’s called deterrence. And it works. Cartels now know America has a president who doesn’t play games.

The irony? Even Democrats like former DNC press secretary Jose Aristimuno applauded Trump’s move, crediting him for striking back at Venezuela’s Nicolas Maduro—the so-called “king of the drug cartels.” When even Democrats are backing Trump on fighting cartels, you know he’s doing something right.

So here’s the real story: Trump classified these cartels as terrorist organizations, gave the military the authority to treat them as such, and then delivered results. He’s protecting American families while liberals on MSNBC clutch their pearls and scold him for being “too tough.”

Bottom line: President Trump is making America safer by going after the cartels where they operate. If the left wants to take the side of drug traffickers instead of American families, that says everything about their priorities. Meanwhile, Trump is doing what leaders are supposed to do: defend the country—and win.
