Trump Calls Out Foreign Companies for Hiring Illegal Workers After Massive Raid at Hyundai Battery Plant

President Donald Trump took a strong stance against foreign companies employing illegal workers in the United States, following a massive raid at a Hyundai Motor car battery facility under construction in Ellabell, Georgia. On Monday, Trump used his TruthSocial platform to criticize companies for flouting immigration laws and taking advantage of America’s hospitality in the wrong way.

"Following the Immigration Enforcement Operation on the Hyundai Battery Plant in Georgia, I am hereby calling on all Foreign Companies investing in the United States to please respect our Nation's Immigration Laws," Trump posted, making it clear that illegal immigration is not the way forward for businesses investing in America.

"Your Investments are welcome, and we encourage you to LEGALLY bring your very smart people, with great technical talent, to build World Class products," he continued. Trump emphasized that the U.S. will make it quick and legal for foreign talent to enter the country, but there’s a catch: "What we ask in return is that you hire and train American Workers." Trump isn’t asking for much—just a little respect for the laws that keep this nation running smoothly and a commitment to strengthening the American workforce.

Of course, this comes as Trump’s administration has ramped up its enforcement against illegal immigration, creating disruptions for businesses around the country. While the White House encourages foreign investment, it’s clear they expect companies to follow the rules—no shortcuts when it comes to immigration.

The raid, which led to the arrest of about 475 workers—mostly South Koreans—was the largest single-site enforcement operation in Department of Homeland Security history. And if that doesn’t send a message to foreign companies, I don’t know what will.

In the end, Trump’s message is simple: follow the law, hire American workers, and help make America stronger and more united than ever. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want a little more unity and productivity in the country? A win-win, if you ask me.
