Donald Trump said the United States is “totally destroying” Iran’s military capabilities and warned that further developments could come soon in a series of posts on Truth Social.
In a message early Friday, Trump wrote that the U.S. campaign against Iran has severely damaged its military forces.
“We are totally destroying the terrorist regime of Iran, militarily, economically, and otherwise,” Trump wrote.
The president claimed that Iran’s naval and air capabilities had been heavily degraded during the conflict.
“Iran’s Navy is gone, their Air Force is no longer, missiles, drones and everything else are being decimated,” he said, adding that the United States has “unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time.”
Trump also suggested that additional developments could occur later in the day, writing:
“Watch what happens to these deranged scumbags today.”
The comments come roughly two weeks after the United States launched military operations against Iran alongside its close ally Israel on February 28.
The conflict has generated significant debate both domestically and internationally, with supporters arguing that the strikes target terrorism and regional threats, while critics warn about the risk of escalation and broader regional instability.

The fighting has also had economic ripple effects, including rising fuel prices in the United States and global energy markets.
Officials have not yet released full operational details about the most recent military actions referenced by Trump, and the situation remains rapidly developing.
