U.S. Central Command announced that American forces carried out another round of strikes against Iran on Saturday night at 11:30 p.m. ET, marking the eighth consecutive night of operations directed by the Commander in Chief.

During the latest assault, CENTCOM targeted Iranian military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites. The strikes also hit Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps elements responsible for launching attacks against U.S. service members in Jordan the previous day.

“CENTCOM forces successfully hit Iranian military coastal surveillance and air defense facilities, maritime capabilities, and missile and drone storage sites to continue degrading Iranian military capabilities,” the command stated.

More than 50,000 U.S. troops remain deployed across the Middle East, operating with high vigilance and readiness.

The sustained pressure comes as the United States maintains its naval blockade in the Strait of Hormuz and continues to respond forcefully to Iranian aggression against American forces and commercial shipping. The Trump administration has made it clear that attacks on U.S. personnel will not go unanswered. 

The situation in the region remains tense as operations aimed at protecting freedom of navigation and deterring further Iranian provocations continue.
