The targets included major logistics facilities in the Moscow and Tambov regions, identified by Russian officials as warehouses belonging to the online retailer Wildberries. Zelenskyy asserted, "These facilities were used by the aggressor to supply sanctioned components for the production of drones and navigation equipment." Elektrostal, near Moscow, is a significant industrial center, further underscoring the strategic nature of the strike.
A Ukrainian military analyst, Serhii Kuzan, corroborated that Wildberries acts as a "vital supplier" to the Russian army, providing dual-use and sanctioned electronics. The strike in Kotovsk, Tambov region, resulted in the deaths of seven night shift workers and wounded 25 others, according to regional governor Yevgeny Pervyshov. The port infrastructure of Odesa also endured an attack, resulting in one fatality and three injuries, with buildings and storage tanks damaged.
