White House Officials Slam Senator Jon Ossoff After He Criticizes Trump and Names Aide

White House officials strongly criticized Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA) on Monday after the Georgia senator attacked President Donald Trump during a Sunday event in Atlanta and specifically named the president’s executive assistant.

Ossoff accused Trump of failing to deliver on promises of peace in the conflict with Iran, claiming the administration was “lying a nation into war” and treating service members as “pawns.” He highlighted the extended deployment of the USS Abraham Lincoln, saying sailors and Marines have been at sea for more than 240 days without a port call, and contrasted their service with what he described as Trump’s focus on golfing, stock trading, and building a White House ballroom while traveling with executive assistant Natalie Harp.

White House Communications Director Steven Cheung responded on X, calling Ossoff a “miserable person who hates this country” and a “radical, extremist Democrat.” Spokesperson Davis Ingle described Ossoff as a “cringeworthy, feminine theatre kid cosplaying as Barack Obama” and a “lightweight loser.”

When asked about the comments in the Oval Office, President Trump referred to Ossoff as a “Pee-wee Herman look-alike.”

Ossoff later defended his remarks on MS NOW’s The Briefing, saying he had heard Harp referred to as a “security blanket” and arguing that senior aides were enabling the president rather than providing necessary counsel while the nation is at war.

The Georgia Senate race is rated a toss-up and is expected to be highly competitive.
