Federal authorities have delivered a decisive blow against danger on America's roads, removing more than 800 unsafe truckers from highways in a recent three-day enforcement action. In addition, 86 operators were arrested for dangerous behaviors including road rage and domestic violence. The operation also exposed 36 violations for failing mandatory English language proficiency tests, and nearly $1 million in stolen cargo was recovered—a clear win for law enforcement.

"Every life lost from an illegal trucker behind the wheel of a big rig is a completely preventable tragedy–and this administration will not stand for it," Secretary Duffy declared, sending a clear message to those who would disregard American law and safety. His warning was unambiguous: "If you continue to illegally operate a big rig–your days on America’s streets are numbered."
