America First: Rubio Sanctions Globalist ICC, Vows to Protect US Sovereignty

Secretary of State Marco Rubio delivered a seismic blow to the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Friday, unveiling sweeping new sanctions against the globalist body. This decisive move dramatically escalates the Trump administration's unwavering defense of American sovereignty against an organization that brazenly claims authority to judge U.S. citizens.

While previous administrations – including even the Trump White House – had rightly targeted individual ICC judges and prosecutors, Friday’s action casts a far wider net, warning the entire institution that its days of unchallenged arrogance are over. Secretary Rubio made it crystal clear: this is just the beginning.

“We will ban transactions with this rogue court, cutting off their resources and crippling their ability to operate against us,” Rubio declared in a powerful announcement. “The United States and the American people are not subject to the jurisdiction of this fake ICC.” That part should not be complicated.

This represents a significant and necessary escalation, building on the Trump administration’s prior, crucial efforts to sanction ICC officials who dared to assert jurisdiction over American patriots and our Israeli allies.

The ICC’s brazen overreach was starkly demonstrated last year when it issued an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, absurdly accusing him of “war crimes and crimes against humanity” for defending his nation against terror. This move exposed the court’s political motivations and anti-Israel bias for all to see.

Secretary Rubio’s latest action targets the institution’s very lifeblood, threatening to sever its access to American companies and the vast financial system of the United States. No longer will a foreign, unelected body be allowed to operate with impunity while undermining American interests.

Secretary Rubio unequivocally framed this essential battle as a fundamental defense of American sovereignty. “For decades now, both Republicans and Democrats have rejected the idea that the International Criminal Court has any power to prosecute American citizens,” he affirmed. “We don't need that court, and we don't want it.”

Rubio minced no words, warning that the ICC’s attack on Netanyahu was merely a precursor. “They want to prosecute Border Patrol agents that are protecting our nation's borders, and they want to prosecute our elected leaders that are ensuring our national security,” he elaborated. “They want more power, and they want it at the expense of our sovereignty as a nation.” This is a direct assault on law and order and national security.

But Secretary Rubio’s stern message wasn’t solely for the ICC. He issued a pointed warning to America’s 'allies': you cannot expect the unwavering protection and military might of the United States while simultaneously legitimizing or cooperating with this rogue court.

“We expect our allies... to rein in this rogue court,” he demanded. “If they do not, the United States will continue its campaign to dismantle the ICC piece by piece, until Americans are threatened no longer.” The ICC, predictably, condemned the sanctions and vowed to press on. But Rubio’s unmistakable message on Friday was a declaration of war against globalist overreach: America is done playing games. We are prepared to systematically dismantle this sham court, protecting our national security, our brave Border Patrol agents, and our elected leaders from its illegitimate dictates. As Rubio powerfully concluded, “Either the ICC will end its threats, or we will end the ICC.” This is the America First doctrine in action, protecting our nation from those who seek to undermine its very foundation.
