ABC's Desperate Smear Job on Trump's Sons Exposed, Then Vanishes Without a Trace

One of the most insidious fallacies continuously peddled by the establishment media and Democrat-aligned forces is the notion that Donald Trump's children are somehow morally equivalent to Hunter Biden.

This false equivalency ignores a fundamental truth: there is a chasm of difference between working diligently within a family's successful business empire and shamelessly leveraging a father's political office for lucrative, questionable dealings with foreign entities, accepting "gifts" from Chinese communists, and peddling "art" to anonymous buyers who evaporate the moment power shifts.

This cynical deflection is a hallmark of Democrat politics. Unable to justify their own morally bankrupt behavior, they resort to fabricating charges and inventing narratives against their political opponents.

It was in this predictable vein that ABC News recently launched a purported "investigation" accusing Trump's sons of profiting from government contracts. Yet, this thinly veiled hit piece abruptly "vanished" from their website after glaring inconsistencies were brought to light by sharp-eyed critics.

The now-deleted ABC story claimed that President Trump had announced a massive $6.6 billion investment with AI defense company Anduril Industries, a firm with alleged investment ties to his sons. The report focused on a $2.9 billion Navy commitment to create a new submarine manufacturing facility in Baltimore County, Maryland.

President Trump had indeed heralded the project as "a tremendous victory for our country and for the city of Baltimore," announcing that Anduril would invest $3.7 billion in a "state-of-the-art shipyard" to be known as Arsenal-2. "Right here in Sparrows Point, you'll build the next generation of American submarines, including autonomous subs, torpedo tubes, and critical components for our cutting edge Virginia-class attack submarines," Trump had stated at the event.

The ABC report quickly pivoted to 1789 Capital, a venture capital firm listing Donald Trump Jr. as a partner, alleging it held a "major stake" in Anduril from a $2.5 billion investment. It further claimed that since this supposed investment, Anduril had secured 135 other U.S. government contracts totaling approximately $1.8 billion.

Then came the predictable climax: Congressional Democrats, ever vigilant for a political weapon, immediately seized on the narrative. "An ABC News analysis found defense companies backed by the president's sons, including Anduril, have now raked in more than $6 billion dollars in active or promised government contracts since those investments were made," the network breathlessly reported. Senators Richard Blumenthal, Elizabeth Warren, Robert Garcia, and Tammy Duckworth wasted no time demanding a Pentagon Inspector General investigation, warning that "Refusal to investigate these serious allegations will raise significant concerns about whether your office is able to perform its statutory duty as an independent watchdog over DoD." And there it is.

The Democrat Propaganda Complex had unleashed its latest attack, which, as expected, rapidly proliferated through the blue echo chamber. But then, a curious thing happened: the links to the story started to disappear.

The flimsy accusations quickly unraveled under scrutiny. Alexa Henning, former Office of the Directorate of National Intelligence chief of staff, delivered a biting critique on X, exposing the report's fundamental lack of financial literacy.

Henning pointed out that 1789 Capital does not hold a "major stake" in Anduril, calling the assertion "literally zero financial literacy." She clarified that the report "conflated raising funds with investment by 1789," meaning the "investments" cited were actually the total amount raised for funding rounds from many contributing companies. Furthermore, Henning highlighted the crucial fact that many of these companies had received government contracts under both Biden and Trump administrations, completely negating ABC's biased assertion of wrongdoing.

Adding another layer to the debunking, Palmer Luckey, the founder of Anduril Industries, unleashed his own scathing rebuttal, which also mysteriously vanished from X.

Luckey explicitly stated that ABC was "refusing to correct this lie" and that its "analysis" was "totally bogus." He revealed that 1789 Capital had only invested a mere $50 million in Anduril, making the so-called "major stake" about "1/1000th of the company." Luckey also debunked the $6 billion figure, clarifying that most of it represented hypothetical contract ceilings, not actual transactions. He asserted that ABC and the reporter, Nathan Lee, knew they were wrong but refused to admit it, fearing legal repercussions from those who had acted on their false reporting.

Despite this overwhelming evidence of factual inaccuracies and the story's unceremonious deletion, ABC News has yet to issue any public retraction or correction. This pattern of media malfeasance is disturbingly familiar, following closely on the heels of numerous outlets being forced to correct the ridiculous "Iran Hoax" story, which even notoriously anti-Trump media figures like Daniel Dale and Aaron Blake grudgingly acknowledged was false.

It appears that we have entered "Hoax Season" once more, where the Democrat Propaganda Complex and its media allies concoct and disseminate sensational but unsubstantiated narratives in a desperate attempt to undermine patriotic Americans and the America First movement. This episode is a stark reminder that discerning citizens must remain vigilant against the constant onslaught of politically motivated smears designed to confuse and mislead the public, especially as critical elections approach. The truth, however inconvenient for the establishment, always finds a way to emerge.
