A Minneapolis man who openly identifies as “Antifa” is calling for armed resistance against federal law enforcement following a fatal Border Patrol shooting in his city — and he’s doing it in front of nearly 36,000 Instagram followers. Because nothing says “peaceful protest” like telling people to grab their guns on social media.
Kyle Wagner, who describes himself as an “entrepreneur” and “master-hate-baiter,” posted multiple videos urging followers to confront federal agents and abandon peaceful demonstrations. Referring to law enforcement as “Nazi gunmen,” Wagner released the videos shortly after a Border Patrol agent fatally shot an armed suspect in Minneapolis — a shooting the Department of Homeland Security said involved a man who appeared ready to “massacre law enforcement.” Riots soon followed in the streets.
“My name is Kyle, I’m Antifa, and there’s so much rage in me,” Wagner said in one video. “They f---ed up.” He then encouraged his audience to “suit up, boots on the ground” and made clear he was speaking directly to his followers.
Wagner explicitly rejected peaceful protests, saying Americans must rely on the Second Amendment to protect themselves from what he described as federal agents killing innocent people. “Get your f---ing guns and stop these f---ing people,” he told viewers, adding that this was “not a joke.”
In another video posted Saturday, Wagner declared there was “a f---ing actual guerrilla war in our streets.” He then pivoted to fundraising, telling followers his Venmo link was in his bio and that he was soliciting “large sums of money” for what he called an “emergency freedom and defense fund.” He admitted he would not disclose how the money would be used — a model of transparency, naturally.
“They’re using live ammunition to kill our citizens,” Wagner claimed, apparently referring to agencies such as ICE. He urged supporters to show up “fully prepared” and demanded Americans stand up and say, “They have to go!”
Later that same day, Wagner posted video of himself at a protest where demonstrators could be heard chanting “ICE out!” while some waved an upside-down American flag. In another clip, Wagner claimed ICE had “murdered another innocent person” near his home, despite reports that a Border Patrol agent — not ICE — shot an armed suspect.
Anti-ICE demonstrations have intensified in Minneapolis following a separate Jan. 7 incident in which an ICE agent fatally shot Renee Good after she allegedly drove her vehicle into him. Wagner has repeatedly identified himself as “Antifa” in recent posts and bears a large “Three Arrows” antifascist tattoo on his neck.
His Instagram bio includes a link to his Venmo account, the hashtag “#IronFront,” and his listed pronouns, “he/him” — because even calls for guerrilla warfare apparently need proper branding.
While radicals on the far left call for violence and try to cash in on chaos, federal law enforcement continues to face danger simply for doing its job. The contrast couldn’t be clearer: one side promotes law and order, the other promotes riots and donation links. And in the end, the rule of law will win — because Americans still believe in safety, justice, and a country that doesn’t bow to online agitators with a camera and a Venmo account.
