Bombshell Report: Biden’s FBI Spied on Trump’s 2024 Campaign

WASHINGTON — In a move that feels less like law enforcement and more like political espionage, a new report reveals that Joe Biden’s FBI secretly surveilled figures tied to **Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign. Because apparently, when you can’t beat him at the ballot box, you try the phone records.

The revelation came from FBI Director Kash Patel, as reported by Reuters. According to the report, the Biden-run FBI subpoenaed phone records belonging to Patel and now–White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles in 2022 and 2023 — a time when both were private citizens and close to Trump as he prepared his comeback.

These actions were tied to investigations by Special Counsel Jack Smith, including probes related to the 2020 election and Trump’s handling of classified documents — the same process that led to the unprecedented raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago. Nothing says “equal justice” like kicking down doors and tapping phones, right?

Patel didn’t hold back. He called the move “outrageous and deeply alarming,” accusing previous FBI leadership of secretly seizing his phone records and those of Wiles using flimsy justifications and burying them in “prohibited” case files to dodge oversight. Subtle, they were not.

The fallout? Ten FBI officials have reportedly been fired after the discovery. Reuters noted it could not independently confirm exactly what records were obtained or who signed off on the subpoenas, but acknowledged both Patel and Wiles were close to Trump as he built toward his 2024 run.

Even more troubling, two anonymous FBI officials claimed the agency recorded a 2023 phone call between Wiles and her attorney. The lawyer consented to the recording — but Wiles herself did not. That’s not just aggressive law enforcement; that’s a legal landmine.

Patel also said he still doesn’t know why the FBI seized their records, adding that Smith’s data collection allegedly extended into Wiles’ time as Trump’s co-campaign manager. The bureau reportedly hid these materials in files marked “Prohibited,” making them nearly impossible to find in the FBI’s internal system. Transparency, Biden-style.

And this wasn’t a one-off. Smith’s team reportedly obtained phone records from several GOP senators and members of Congress after the 2020 election, even seeking gag orders to keep them in the dark. Democracy works best when politicians don’t know they’re being surveilled, right?

This marks the second time in recent history that a Democrat-run FBI spied on a Trump campaign. Under Obama, the FBI used the now-discredited Steele dossier — funded by **Hillary Clinton’s campaign lawyers — to justify spying on Trump aide Carter Page during the 2016 election. That episode was built on the fantasy that Trump colluded with Russia — a theory that collapsed faster than a campaign promise.

The pattern is clear: when Trump runs, the surveillance state wakes up.

But here’s the good news: the truth is coming out, accountability is finally knocking, and Americans are seeing exactly how far some were willing to go to stop one man from winning again. And if history is any guide, every attempt to take him down just seems to make him stronger.
