CENTCOM Strikes Iran for the Tenth Straight Day. Trump Administration Revives Regime Change Option

Overthrowing the Iranian regime has surged back onto the agenda inside parts of the Trump administration after diplomatic efforts with Tehran appear to have completely failed, according to a report Monday.

“Elements of the Trump administration are once again flirting with Plan A — which is to topple the Iranian regime,” the Financial Times noted. Washington is also revisiting efforts to encourage an internal uprising against the mullahs, signaling a major shift in approach as patience with the Islamic Republic runs out.

The report further reveals that an earlier Israeli proposal to arm Kurdish opposition groups inside Iran — previously rejected — is now under reconsideration as policymakers look for every available tool to increase pressure on the regime.

This development comes as U.S. forces continue precision strikes on Iranian military targets for the tenth consecutive night, systematically degrading the regime’s ability to threaten commercial shipping and regional stability. After years of failed deals, nuclear brinkmanship, and proxy terrorism, the administration is clearly done managing the Iranian threat and is now focused on ending it.

The Iranian regime has proven time and again that it only understands strength. If diplomacy is dead, the United States must pursue decisive strategies — including supporting the Iranian people’s desire for freedom from oppressive theocratic rule.

Real leadership means confronting evil directly instead of kicking the can down the road. The mullahs’ days of exporting terror while enriching themselves may finally be numbered, and they'd have only themselves to blame for the decision to erase them from the face of the Earth.
