Democrats' Blatant Hypocrisy: Epstein-Tied Billionaire Funds PAC Attacking GOP Over Epstein Files

In a stunning display of political opportunism and breathtaking hypocrisy, Reid Hoffman, the billionaire co-founder of LinkedIn with documented ties to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has emerged as a top donor to House Majority PAC (HMP), a powerful Democratic fundraising machine. This same PAC is now spearheading a cynical advertising campaign that weaponizes the very issue of Epstein’s sordid network to attack Republican candidates.

New Federal Election Commission filings reveal Hoffman's significant contributions to HMP, which has since ramped up its spending on Epstein-focused ads just weeks before Election Day. The irony is palpable: Democrats, bankrolled by a man who maintained a relationship with Epstein long after his 2008 conviction, are attempting to paint Republicans as shielding the truth about the disgraced financier’s child sex trafficking activities.

One such ad campaign targeted Republican Rep. Nick Begich of Alaska. HMP’s ad audaciously claimed Begich “voted against releasing the Epstein Files, trying to hide the truth.” This attack conveniently ignores that Begich later voted in favor of the very legislation, the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which ultimately passed with near-unanimous support and became law in November 2025. The bill mandates the Justice Department to release Epstein-related records, albeit with protections for victims’ identities. Yet, HMP spent over half a million dollars pushing this disingenuous narrative against Begich.

Reid Hoffman and Jeffrey Epstein

Reid Hoffman’s connections to Epstein are not new or incidental. For years, they exchanged correspondence and gifts, and even collaborated on fundraising for MIT’s Media Lab. Records made public through the DOJ’s Epstein Files library show Hoffman visiting Epstein at his private island and his New York residence. In a revealing 2014 email, Hoffman informed Epstein he had sent him gifts – ice cream for “the girls” and a “funny bone” item for the island. Hoffman has previously expressed “deep regret” for continuing his relationship with Epstein after his conviction, a regret that rings hollow when his money is used to fund attacks accusing others of complicity with Epstein.

Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell

The Republican National Committee (RNC) wasted no time in exposing this glaring double standard. Natalie Baldassarre, an RNC spokesperson, sharply criticized the Democrats’ lack of moral compass. “Democrats have no problem with money in politics so long as it benefits their own campaign, even if it comes from certified perverts like Reid Hoffman who maintained a relationship with Epstein after his conviction,” Baldassarre stated to Fox News Digital. She added, “Democrats have no morals when power and money are on the line, and they’ll take both from anyone willing to write a check.” And there it is.

HMP’s extensive spending on these ethically dubious ads extends beyond Alaska, with hundreds of thousands, and in some cases millions, poured into battleground districts in Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Arizona. This coordinated effort demonstrates a clear strategy to muddy the waters and mislead voters, all while accepting funds from an individual whose own past is entangled with the very scandal they are weaponizing.

Reid Hoffman

Neither HMP nor representatives for Hoffman responded to inquiries regarding the blatant contradiction between the PAC's messaging and its donor's history. This silence speaks volumes. The American people deserve transparency, not selective outrage funded by the very individuals whose past associations should disqualify them from lecturing anyone on accountability concerning Jeffrey Epstein. This episode is yet another stark reminder of the left’s willingness to compromise any principle for political gain, further eroding public trust in our electoral process and the integrity of those who claim to champion justice.
