Election Integrity Under Siege: Feds Expose Hundreds of Non-Citizen Votes in Washington, State Officials Obstruct Probe

A shocking revelation from federal prosecutors in Washington state confirms what many Americans have long feared: election integrity is under direct assault. Investigators have identified at least 405 individuals, believed to be non-U.S. citizens, who illegally cast more than 1,500 ballots across multiple elections in Washington. This isn't merely an 'allegation'; it's a documented breach of our electoral system.

Neil Floyd, the acting U.S. attorney for the Western District of Washington, confirmed that the names of these individuals have been forwarded to state election officials with an urgent request: set aside any ballots from these voters immediately until their eligibility can be fully verified. This crucial action comes just ahead of the November 3 midterm elections, a time when every legitimate vote must be counted, and every illegal one must be rejected.

Floyd’s findings, while alarming, are just the beginning. He explicitly stated that while investigators are highly confident in their current data, this number is likely just the "tip of the iceberg." The true scope of non-citizen voting in Washington could be far greater, potentially reaching into the thousands, casting a dark shadow over the legitimacy of past and future elections.

"Through our investigation, we have confirmed with high confidence that non-citizens are voting in the state of Washington in federal and state elections. Thus far, we have identified over 400 non-citizens who have voted in Washington, and many of them have voted multiple times. That means we have identified over 1,500 ballots illegally cast. This is not the full number of non-citizens who have been voting in Washington. This is only the tip of the iceberg. With a small sample that we have collected so far, I’m confident that we are looking at thousands of non-citizens who have been voting in Washington."

The 1,500 ballots identified so far were reportedly cast over several decades, highlighting a systemic vulnerability that has been allowed to fester. The investigative process, led by Department of Homeland Security officials, involved meticulously comparing publicly available Washington voter lists with federal records to pinpoint non-citizens who had registered and subsequently voted.

However, the crucial task of safeguarding our elections is being deliberately impeded. Washington state officials have brazenly refused to provide the federal government with their complete voter registration database, including vital personal identifying information. This obstruction forces investigators to conduct their work "one person at a time," an excruciatingly time-consuming process that slows accountability and potentially allows more illegal votes to slip through.

"Washington has refused to share the complete list of registered voters with identifying information. We are having to do this essentially one person at a time. If we had access to the full database maintained by Washington, this could be done much more efficiently. We could simply compare Washington’s information to ours and it would yield immediate results."

Floyd’s office has vowed to pursue criminal cases against those who illegally vote and anyone who knowingly aids them. This promise of accountability is critical, yet it underscores the larger failure of states like Washington to proactively protect the integrity of the ballot box.

This disturbing pattern isn't isolated. Just recently, Los Angeles County officials admitted in court that they couldn't independently verify voters’ citizenship beyond what was stated on registration forms. Furthermore, the Justice Department has had to sue California to prevent the counting of mailed ballots from more than 20,000 likely non-citizen voters identified by federal officials. It appears that a concerning number of left-leaning states are actively hindering efforts to ensure only American citizens determine American elections.

The fight for election integrity is not a partisan issue; it is a fight for the very soul of our republic. When non-citizens cast ballots, the voices of legitimate American voters are diluted, and the foundation of our democratic process is eroded. States like Washington, by obstructing federal investigations and refusing to cooperate fully, are undermining public trust and sending a dangerous message that they prioritize bureaucratic roadblocks over the sacred duty to secure our elections for citizens alone. America First demands that every vote cast be legal, and every citizen's voice be respected, free from foreign interference or domestic negligence.
