Europe Burns While Leaders Play Pretend: Radical Left and Islamists Wage War on Civilization

Europe is ablaze, but its leaders seem intent on playing make-believe. From Paris to Rome, cities are scarred by riots, yet Emmanuel Macron and his continental counterparts continue to peddle the ludicrous notion that this chaos is somehow rooted in "legitimate grievance" or "cost of living" protests. This isn't about rising prices or school reform; it's a full-frontal assault on Western civilization orchestrated by the radical left, hand-in-glove with unassimilated Islamist elements.

The narrative pushed by establishment media and weak-kneed politicians—that these are spontaneous uprisings of concerned citizens—is a dangerous delusion. These are not "students seeking better schools" or "moms decrying the high cost of groceries." This is a calculated campaign by forces determined to burn down our societies, spread anarchy, and shatter the very foundations of the civilized world. To dignify this destruction with the label of "protest" offers these goons a false legitimacy they neither deserve nor genuinely seek.

The pattern is sickeningly clear. What may begin as smaller, legitimate demonstrations in France, Italy, Spain, Greece, Portugal, Albania, and Belgium are swiftly hijacked. The far-left, bolstered by elements of the migrant population refusing to assimilate, transforms them into orgies of rioting, looting, arson, and violent attacks on police. This isn't reform; it's revolution.

And it's a revolution with a dark edge, featuring synagogue ransacking and statue-smashing. "Down with the state, the police and the fascists," shouted marchers in France – not exactly a plea for a better teacher-student ratio. This is raw, unadulterated nihilism.

Even some government officials, quietly, are forced to admit the obvious. French intelligence assessments reportedly finger Antifa and other far-left groups as key instigators. Yet, the political class, led by figures like presidential hopeful Jean-Luc Mélenchon, often cheers on the madness, offering hollow "tut-tuts" about the violence while insisting socialism, the very disease, is the cure.

Macron himself, though acknowledging "ultra-left groups" for the turmoil, still attempts to divert blame by promising billions more in public funding for schools, as if a few extra textbooks will halt the tide of organized chaos. The disconnect is staggering.

Even worse, when a gunman recently opened fire on individuals of North African descent, Macron outrageously claimed it was "the first time there has been a terrorist act aimed at killing our compatriots and our children for the color of their skin" or religion. This conveniently ignores decades of deadly antisemitic and anti-Christian attacks, alongside mass Islamist terror like the horrific 2015 Bataclan slaughter. Such selective outrage is not only disgraceful but particularly galling when so many rioters proudly wave Palestinian flags.

The assault on the Roman Colosseum, a black-bloc desecration of history itself, should be the ultimate alarm bell. It's time for Macron & Co. to finally rally the sensible center against the anarchists, crypto-communists, and Islamists who are tearing their nations apart.

The choice is stark: Stand up for Western civilization, uphold law and order, and confront this destructive ideology head-on, or watch as the assault redoubles, leaving nothing but ashes and regret. America watches, knowing that the principles being challenged in Europe are the same ones under attack here.
