James Talarico, the Democrat nominee for Senate in Texas, has generated a lot of buzz for his eccentric public persona. But beneath the surface of his oddities lies a pattern of blatant hypocrisy and deception that Fox News hosts recently dismantled with surgical precision.
The latest example of Talarico's disingenuous politicking came during a campaign event where he launched a baseless attack on two prominent figures: Elon Musk and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton. Talarico audaciously suggested that any negative campaign materials targeting him were likely funded by Musk. He then brazenly claimed Paxton was "not even one of us," lying that the Attorney General wasn't "from Texas" and, ludicrously, that he was from California "just like Elon Musk." Talarico even feigned concern, asking, "Why is it always the Californians saying, 'Don't California my Texas'?" The irony, as Fox News was about to reveal, is suffocating.
Fox News host Brian Kilmeade immediately highlighted the sheer absurdity of Talarico's smears. "That's the man you want to vilify?" Kilmeade scoffed, pointing out that Elon Musk is not only a proud resident of Texas but has also injected at least $30 million in property taxes into the state. This doesn't even begin to count the countless jobs and economic opportunities his companies have brought to the Lone Star State, a testament to true Texas investment and prosperity.
Lawrence Jones then stepped in, refusing to let Talarico's fabrications stand unchallenged. "He lies so much, and he needs to be fact-checked. Elon Musk is a resident of the state of Texas, right? So he has every right. His business is there; his home of residence is in Texas. He has every right to be involved with it," Jones asserted. He further clarified that Ken Paxton moved to Texas when he was in college and has been a Texan for decades, making Talarico's suggestion that Paxton isn't "from Texas" a bald-faced lie. This kind of rhetoric is particularly galling coming from the same Democrats who insist that every illegal alien is our "neighbor" and "one of us."
Jones truly exposed Talarico's stunning double standard on campaign finance. "Let's look at your donor list — the people who have been bankrolling you. They're from California. They're not from the state of Texas," Jones revealed. He challenged Talarico's moral posturing, suggesting that if Talarico truly believed in his own rhetoric, he should "give back all the money that he got from outside the state of Texas. Those are the people who are bankrolling him."
And there it is. Talarico has been caught specifically claiming that all his donors were from Texas, a claim demonstrably false. Public records show that more than half of his campaign contributions have flowed in from out of state, in stark contrast to Ken Paxton, who receives almost 75 percent of his contributions from within Texas. Furthermore, Reid Hoffman, a Silicon Valley billionaire and known associate of Jeffrey Epstein, has poured millions into a pro-Talarico PAC. Yet, Talarico lectures about billionaires and outside money in politics as if he isn't directly benefiting from it himself. The hypocrisy is simply staggering.
While the corporate mainstream media typically focuses on Elon Musk or parrots Democrat talking points, Fox News stood out, doing the job the public expects: exposing the truth. They didn't shy away from highlighting the critical details about Hoffman's influence and Talarico's profound hypocrisy. In an era where common sense and honesty are under assault, holding politicians accountable for such blatant deception is not just good journalism; it's essential for preserving public trust and American values. This is why America First conservatives continue to fight against the radical left's disingenuous tactics and demand transparency from those who seek to represent our great state and nation.
