At Dallas City Hall, the B-team of Texas progressives—Beto O'Rourke, Colin Allred, and the rest of the usual anti-establishment apparatus—lined up to run their standard outrage playbook for the cameras.
But inside the arena, the atmosphere was a completely different beast. As President Donald Trump and national Republican leaders laid down the law for the 2026 midterms, House Republican Conference Chairwoman Lisa McClain took the stage and ripped the mask clean off the Democratic Party's unholy alliance with anti-American radicalism.
McClain went straight for the jugular, shining a blinding spotlight on Hasan Piker—a radical far-left internet commentator who famously sneered that "America deserved 9/11" and publicly declared his open hostility toward both the United States and Israel. McClain didn't just highlight Piker’s venomous record; she dragged Michigan Democratic Senate nominee Abdul El-Sayed directly into the light for actively campaigning side-by-side with the extremist influencer.
“My mom has a saying: 'You are who you hang with,'” McClain thundered across the packed arena floor. “And let me tell you, Hasan Piker is who Abdul El-Sayed hangs with.”
With the country standing on the eve of the solemn 25th anniversary of September 11th, McClain's indictment laid bare the sick moral decay of a political movement that coddles subversives who mock American blood and sacrifice. “Tomorrow is the 25th anniversary of the darkest day in our nation's history,” McClain reminded the crowd, evoking the raw horror of Americans leaping from burning towers into the abyss.
