Jill Biden Reveals Former President Will Live With Stage 4 Cancer as Health Concerns Continue

Former First Lady Jill Biden provided a candid update on former President Joe Biden’s health during a discussion with political commentator and "The View" co-host Ana Navarro, revealing that the 83-year-old will live with Stage 4 cancer for the remainder of his life.

According to Jill Biden, the former president remains active and continues to maintain a busy schedule, although she acknowledged that he has slowed down. The update came as part of a conversation surrounding Navarro’s new book, "View From the East Wing: A Memoir."

Jill Biden also shed light on how the diagnosis eventually came about. While Joe Biden was still serving in the White House and had access to a team of physicians, she noticed that he was waking up as many as seven times each night to use the bathroom. Believing the issue would receive attention from medical staff, she assumed someone would investigate further.

However, after leaving the White House in 2025 and seeing that the problem continued, Jill Biden said she urged her husband to visit a urologist. During his first appointment, the doctor reportedly identified a concerning issue and informed him that "there's something there." A CAT scan was then ordered, leading to further examination of his condition.

The revelation is likely to raise additional questions about the timeline surrounding Biden’s health and when warning signs first became apparent. Many Americans may wonder how symptoms that persisted for such a long period did not result in earlier answers, especially given the extensive medical resources available to a sitting president. Because apparently having an entire team of experts doesn't always guarantee anyone follows up on obvious concerns.

Despite the diagnosis, Jill Biden emphasized that her husband continues to move forward with his daily activities and remains engaged. While the former president faces a serious long-term health battle, his family says he is continuing to live his life with determination and purpose, offering a message of resilience in the face of adversity.
