The current face of the Democratic Party's alarming "anti-American weirdness" is perhaps best exemplified by figures like Zohran Mamdani and Abdul El-Sayed, along with their campaign associate, the reprehensible dog-torturing Twitch streamer Hasan Piker. Their recent actions, particularly on the eve of the 25th anniversary of 9/11, have been nothing short of an insult to American values and the victims of terror.
Mamdani and El-Sayed have been actively trolling 9/11 families, downplaying the horrific atrocity as merely "3,000 [people] died" and suggesting it was somehow less tragic than foreign lives lost in subsequent conflicts. Mamdani, in a shocking display of disrespect, insisted on attending the Ground Zero commemorations despite pleas from 9/11 families and retired Port Authority officers to stay away. His grotesque flex went even further during a signing ceremony for executive orders related to 9/11, when he virtually spat in the faces of the dead: after signing the papers, he handed the honorary pen to Ramzi Kassem, his chief counsel and a lawyer who has represented an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist. He even forced an visibly uncomfortable NYPD Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch to pass the pen to Kassem. One can only imagine the snickering among the progressive elite, thinking, "Hasan will love it, bro!"
Indeed, the Turkish-raised Piker has openly stated that America "deserved 9/11" and that he "hates this country," proudly displaying a framed front page depicting the burning Twin Towers during his Twitch live streams. Yet, his Democratic allies dismiss him as "irrelevant," a convenient lie that fools no one.
El-Sayed, equally tone-deaf, chose the weekend before the 25th anniversary to attend an Islamic convention criticized for hosting 9/11 conspiracy theorists and anti-Israel extremists. There, he railed against an imagined "growing anti-Muslim sentiment across the country." This blatant, un-American malice, as Senator John Kennedy (R-La.) aptly points out, is what repels normal voters outside the radical bastions of cities like New York, where these "Lulu Lenins" give the entire Democratic Party a terrible name.
The Democratic Party's desperate attempt to rebrand itself as "normal" for the midterms is destined to be a comedic failure, given the glaring reality of their policy priorities. Looking ahead, he predicted that by 2028, America will command 80% of global computing power, making us the undisputed "AI superpower," pulling further away from any rivals, as he revealed to Fox Business' Larry Kudlow.
Bessent also detailed the dire economic straits of Iran, as the administration moves to "economically asphyxiate" the regime. His efforts to ferret out assets hidden by the regime's elites globally have gained traction, with Europe now agreeing to join the pressure campaign. Just last week, reports revealed two luxury London penthouses linked to Iran's Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei were put up for sale.
