If you are a Minnesota Vikings fan and season ticket holder, my deepest condolences.
Tim Walz’s favorite football team is now using male cheerleaders, reportedly replacing two women with dancers Blaize Shiek and Louie Conn, who made their debuts in a preseason game Saturday.
The NFL has used male cheerleaders for some time. According to a report, there are at least seven teams who use male cheerleaders and 18 male cheerleaders in the league.

However, the Vikings’ new male cheerleaders seem to wearing outfits that are far more feminine than you’re probably used to. They’re not looking like the way dudes dress on the sidelines of your local high school football game or on College Gameday.
No, these male uniforms are about as feminine as you can get. They also appear to be wearing makeup.
I’m surprised the Vikings didn’t recruit Gov. Tim Walz. With his famous jazz hands, Walz would have made a great addition to the Vikings cheerleading squad. Maybe next season.
