Rep. Lauren Boebert Says Hillary Clinton Played “Normal Self” — Dodging Questions on Epstein Ties

WASHINGTON — Rep. Lauren Boebert (R-CO) didn’t sound surprised after watching Hillary Clinton testify about her relationship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Speaking to Newsmax, Boebert said Clinton was her “normal self” — which in political terms means evading questions like it’s an Olympic sport.

Boebert appeared on Carl Higbie FRONTLINE after attending Clinton’s testimony in Chappaqua, New York, part of a House Oversight Committee investigation into Epstein. She noted that when tough questions came up, Clinton suddenly developed selective memory loss. Funny how that works.

“On things that didn’t really matter, she could recall incredible detail,” Boebert explained. “But when it came to the difficult issues, clear answers were hard to come by.” Amazing how that talent only activates when accountability shows up.

Boebert also revealed that the committee had agreed the discussion would remain confidential until transcripts were released — yet Clinton still went straight to the press afterward. Apparently, rules are more like suggestions in Clinton world.

“For seven months, we’ve been trying to get the Clintons into an open public hearing,” Boebert said. “They kept refusing and denying.” It took the threat of contempt of Congress — passed with bipartisan support — to finally get cooperation. Once that pressure hit, suddenly depositions became possible. What a coincidence.

Former President Bill Clinton is scheduled to testify next, and Boebert said videos from both depositions will be released once attorneys finish reviewing them. Transparency takes time — especially when famous last names are involved.

Boebert also said it’s possible Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick could testify regarding his relationship with Epstein, after acknowledging he once visited Epstein’s private land with his family. She stressed that subpoenas aren’t handed out casually and that cooperation is always the first option.

Most importantly, Boebert made clear this isn’t about politics — it’s about justice.

“I want accountability for those who committed crimes,” she said. “And that’s exactly what we’re pursuing here today.”

At the end of the day, sunlight is the best disinfectant, and the push for truth continues. For the victims and for the country, accountability isn’t optional — it’s long overdue, and that’s a fight worth finishing.
