Shocker in New Hampshire: Trump-Backed Republican Sununu Takes Lead in Crucial Senate Battle

The Washington establishment and its compliant media may have prematurely declared New Hampshire a locked-down Democrat stronghold, but a new poll is sending a clear message: not so fast. In a pivotal U.S. Senate race that could determine control of the upper chamber, former Republican Senator John Sununu has surged ahead of incumbent Democrat Rep. Chris Pappas, injecting a jolt of America First momentum into the Granite State.

A survey conducted for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) by GOP firm Fabrizio, Lee & Associates reveals Sununu leading Pappas by a razor-thin margin, 37 percent to 36 percent. While technically within the poll's margin of error of plus or minus four percentage points, the numbers directly challenge the "prevailing media narrative that Democrats have a lock on New Hampshire," as noted by pollsters David Lee and Travis Tunis.

The memo accompanying the poll highlights a crucial factor: nearly a quarter of respondents, 23 percent, remain undecided. This large pool of persuadable voters signals a significant opportunity for the conservative message to resonate, suggesting that New Hampshirites are taking "a fresh look" at Sununu and rejecting the stale narratives pushed by the Left.

This isn't an isolated incident. The NRSC poll mirrors a recent University of New Hampshire (UNH) survey, released just days earlier, which also placed Sununu ahead 45 percent to 43 percent. Newsweek, a publication not typically known for celebrating Republican gains, even described these back-to-back numbers as a "second polling blow" for Congressman Pappas. The fact that former President Donald Trump and Senate Republican leaders have endorsed Sununu underscores the national importance of this race and the unified conservative push.

With primaries set for September 8, both candidates face internal battles, but the real fight is for control of the U.S. Senate. Pappas has resorted to personal attacks, referencing Sununu's past and claiming he "cashed in on corporate boards." However, Sununu has sharply focused on Pappas's voting record, revealing that the Democrat Congressman aligns with radical House Democrat leaders nearly 100 percent of the time – a stark contrast that should alarm voters concerned about the direction of the country.

As Republicans eye New Hampshire as a prime pickup opportunity, these polls serve as a powerful reminder that the America First movement continues to reshape the political landscape, even in states once thought beyond reach. Voters are seeking accountability and common sense, and the growing support for John Sununu suggests they are ready to reject the establishment's dictates and choose a path that truly puts American values first.
