SICK: Feds Take Down Twisted Online 'Cult' Targeting American Kids—Justice is Finally Being Served

Folks, just when you think you’ve heard it all, something comes along that makes you want to throw your computer out the window. We’ve got a situation involving a group of absolute degenerates who thought they could hide behind their screens and terrorize our children. But thanks to some good old-fashioned police work, their little party is over.

Federal prosecutors announced Tuesday that five men—if you can even call them that—were busted for running what they called "Greggy’s Cult." Real creative name, right? These predators weren't just hanging out online; they were using platforms like Discord, Roblox, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to target American kids as young as 11.

Between 2019 and 2021, this "cult" was busy coercing children nationwide into performing sick sexual acts on camera. And because they are just such brave tough guys, they used malware to lock these kids out of their own computers until they complied. They forced victims to mark their bodies with members' names and declare themselves "owned" to prove loyalty. Even worse? They actually urged these terrified kids to commit suicide, telling one victim to overdose or hang themselves. It makes you sick to your stomach.

The ringleader, 29-year-old Hector Bermudez from Queens, was arraigned Tuesday. He’s joined by a rogues' gallery of losers from across the country: Zachary Dosch from New Mexico, David Brilhante from California, Camden Rodriguez from Colorado, and Rumaldo Valdez from Hawaii. Sarcastic shocker of the day: Valdez is already serving time on another federal case. Clearly, a model citizen.

But here is the good news, and it’s a breath of fresh air. We finally have people in charge who care about law and order. U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi stepped up to the plate and made it crystal clear: "No child should ever be terrorized or exploited online, and no online platform should give refuge to predators."

Bondi affirmed that the DOJ is going to use "every tool we have" to hold these monsters accountable. It’s about time we had leadership that prioritizes protecting the vulnerable over coddling criminals.

NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch noted that this case shows just how easily these predators embed themselves in the digital platforms our kids use. It’s a wake-up call for every parent in America.

Each of these suspects is now facing charges for sexual exploitation of a minor, distribution of child pornography, and conspiracy to communicate interstate threats. They messed with our kids, and now they are going to pay the price. It’s a great day for justice, a great day for American families, and a terrible day for creeps who think they can hide from the law. Keep your kids safe, folks. The good guys won this round.
