The Woke Marriage Manual: Popular Podcaster Tells Women to Always Ditch Husbands for 'Better'

In another stark example of cultural decay masquerading as "empowerment," popular podcast host Alex Cooper of "Call Her Daddy" has offered young women some truly destructive relationship advice: when in doubt, divorce your husband because you can "always do better." This isn't just misguided; it's a dangerous erosion of commitment and personal growth.

Cooper dispensed this reckless counsel during a conversation with actress Sophia Bush, herself a three-time divorcée, most recently to a woman, on her widely listened-to podcast. The notion peddled here is that marriage is a disposable contract, easily discarded the moment personal dissatisfaction arises, rather than a sacred bond demanding effort and resilience.

"I do think we can get really, really in our heads," Cooper claimed, apparently speaking for all women, "...Maybe I shouldn't leave this marriage because can I even get better?' And the answer is always yes!" Because, of course, the grass is always greener on the other side, and personal accountability for one's choices is an outdated concept.

Bush, predictably, chimed in to blame the "patriarchy" for any woman's desire to uphold her vows. "This idea that it's too late, or you're too old, or 'Who are you to want more?' That is patriarchy!" she declared. "That is crazy! We don't need it!" Such radical rhetoric casually dismisses centuries of wisdom, faith, and the very foundation of stable families, all under the guise of "freedom."

Thankfully, voices of common sense still exist. Daily Wire podcast host Isabel Brown swiftly debunked this shallow, self-serving logic. "What's devastating about this mentality is that your actual husband can always be 'better,' and so can you, [by the way]," Brown powerfully countered. "Challenging one another and helping one another grow into the best version of themselves is the most beautiful part of marriage."

Brown continued, highlighting a crucial truth the progressive left refuses to acknowledge: "There's nothing more sanctifying, or that causes you to confront your own inadequacies more than your spouse holding up the mirror and grabbing your hand to pull you up when you're a lesser version of who you're meant to be. Merely replacing your spouse with a different person takes that experience away entirely, and leaves you in an infantilized relationship that will never meaningfully progress." This is the wisdom of true maturity, not the fleeting gratification promised by the "woke" relationship gurus.

This isn't Cooper's first foray into dispensing potentially life-ruining "advice." Just last April, she famously told women they should, without hesitation or shame, engage in sex, including anal sex, on a first date if it "feels good to your body." "So, kiss them the first date, f*cking sleep with them the first night," she blithely stated. "Like, I don't care. You have to go based on what feels good to your body and what feels right to you."

In a particularly crude moment, Cooper added, "And, so, if you have some f*cking friends that are prudes that are like, 'You should never kiss on the first date, you're going to give them the wrong impression, and they're just going to think you're a whore.' Okay, maybe for you, Cassandra, but I'm about to let him in my back door all night." Such language not only demeans women but actively encourages a transactional, emotionally vacant approach to relationships, eroding self-respect and the potential for lasting connection.

And here's where the hypocrisy truly shines: Cooper herself is married and recently welcomed a child with her husband. It seems the "always do better" mantra doesn't apply when it comes to her own "fairytale ending." Funny how that always seems to happen in one direction when the left preaches one thing and lives another.

With "Call Her Daddy" ranking as one of the most popular podcasts in the country, boasting millions of listeners, the reach of this destructive ideology is immense. The casual dismissal of marital vows, the promotion of fleeting gratification over enduring commitment, and the shunning of personal growth for immediate "betterment" are not signs of progress. Instead, they represent a profound regression in societal values, undermining the very institutions that foster stable families and strong communities. It's a stark reminder of the urgent need for a return to common sense, faith, and American values that uphold the sanctity of marriage and the pursuit of genuine, challenging, and ultimately rewarding relationships.
