Trump Cheered at Yankee Stadium, Predicts Victory — Yankees Deliver

President Donald J. Trump made his presence felt at Yankee Stadium on Thursday — not just with the roaring cheers from fans, but with his trademark confidence that, once again, proved right.

Before the game, Trump met the Bronx Bombers in the clubhouse, shaking hands, signing autographs, and offering a simple prediction: “You’re gonna win. You’re gonna go all the way.” And sure enough, the Yankees trounced the Detroit Tigers 9–3 with Trump watching from the Steinbrenner family suite.

Aaron Judge wasted no time turning the President’s words into action. Just moments after shaking Trump’s hand, he blasted his 45th homer of the season in the first inning, then followed it up with his 46th two innings later. Trump praised him beforehand: “You’re a fantastic player. … You’re an unbelievable player.” Looks like Judge took that compliment straight to the scoreboard.

The atmosphere was electric. Fans erupted with chants of “USA! USA!” as Trump was shown on the video board saluting the flag during the national anthem. Later, PA announcer Paul Olden introduced him as “the 45th and 47th president of the United States” — and the stadium roared again. Sure, there was the usual smattering of boos from New York liberals, but the overwhelming sound was cheers for a president who still draws crowds like no one else.

Security was tight, with Secret Service agents stationed across the stadium and Trump shielded behind bulletproof glass. Inside the suite, he was joined by Yankees owner Hal Steinbrenner, team president Randy Levine, top Republicans like Elise Stefanik and Nicole Malliotakis, and former Fox News host Bill O’Reilly, who even joked he “almost got arrested” trying to get to the box.

Trump stayed through the seventh inning, leaving after “God Bless America” with fans chanting “Donald Trump! Donald!” as he walked out. And in classic Trump fashion, he broke into his signature dance when “YMCA” blasted over the speakers — a move so iconic that even a couple of Tigers players imitated it after getting base hits.

On the solemn anniversary of 9/11, Trump reminded Americans that strength, pride, and unity still live in our stadiums, our fans, and our flag. And just as he predicted, the Yankees won big — because when Trump says “you’re gonna win,” history shows he tends to be right.
