The U.S. military successfully completed its 13th consecutive night of strikes against Iranian targets on Thursday, hitting military command centers, drone storage facilities, communication networks, coastal surveillance sites, and maritime capabilities.

U.S. Central Command stated the operations are designed to further diminish Iran’s ability to threaten civilian mariners and commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz. “The international waterway remains open for transit despite recent attacks from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps,” CENTCOM noted, adding that commercial vessels continue to navigate with U.S. military support.

Iranian media reported explosions in several areas, including the southwestern city of Ahvaz, west of Bandar Abbas — Iran’s main port on the Strait of Hormuz — and on Qeshm Island. No immediate details on casualties were released by Iranian officials.

The sustained campaign comes as Iran-backed Houthi terrorists claimed responsibility for new attacks on Saudi oil tankers in the Red Sea. Those incidents helped push oil prices above $100 per barrel amid fears of broader disruptions.

President Trump warned earlier Thursday that Iran would face “major military punishment” if Houthi attacks continue. The administration has made clear that restoring freedom of navigation and protecting global energy flows remain top priorities.

With each passing night of strikes, the cost to the Iranian regime for its aggression continues to rise. The mullahs are learning that America will no longer tolerate threats to international shipping.
