Vance Urges Conservatives to Step Up and Push SAVE Act Forward

Vice President JD Vance is calling on conservatives — especially younger voters — to stop sitting on the sidelines and start getting actively involved in shaping the country’s future.
Speaking at a Turning Point USA event in Georgia, Vance delivered a straightforward message: if you don’t like something in politics, you’ve got two choices — walk away or step up. And he made it clear which one actually gets results.
According to Vance, too many young conservatives fall into cynicism when they see policies they disagree with. But instead of checking out, he urged them to lean in, make their voices heard, and apply pressure where it counts. Because apparently, democracy works better when people actually participate. Who would’ve thought? ?
Vance acknowledged that not everyone agrees with every decision made by the Trump administration — particularly when it comes to foreign policy — but he emphasized that disagreement shouldn’t lead to disengagement. After all, this is the same administration that has secured the border and lowered housing costs, delivering real results on issues that matter most to Americans.
Using the Safeguarding American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act as a key example, Vance pointed out that while some Republicans joined Democrats to block the bill, progress is still being made. He noted that while only around 45 or 46 Republicans are currently pushing for it, that number has grown from about 35 — a sign that persistence is paying off.
The SAVE Act, aimed at strengthening voter eligibility requirements, has become a rallying point for conservatives who want to ensure election integrity. And Vance’s message is clear: if supporters want it passed, they need to stay engaged and keep pushing.
At the end of the day, change doesn’t come from sitting back — it comes from showing up, speaking out, and demanding action.
And as momentum continues to build, one thing is certain: when Americans get involved, the country moves forward. ??
