Joe Biden took the stage at the Democratic Party’s “Ben Nelson Gala” in Omaha, Nebraska, on Friday night — and, well, it went about as smoothly as one might expect. The president appeared angry, confused, and at times lost in his own speech, hurling insults at Donald Trump while struggling to finish his own sentences.
Biden declared that the Democratic Party was “back,” before launching into his usual routine of revisionist history — boasting that wages are up and inflation is down under his watch. Reality check: inflation hit 9% under Biden, the highest in four decades, and real wages have fallen for most working Americans. But sure, Joe, tell us again how well everything’s going.
He also bragged that America has regained the “respect of the world.” That’s rich — especially considering that under Trump, foreign leaders were signing historic peace deals, not babysitting a president who can barely find the exit.
At one point, Biden stumbled and said “president” instead of “presidency,” before accusing Trump of taking a “wrecking ball” to the White House and the Constitution. The irony practically writes itself. Under Biden, we’ve had cocaine found at the White House, a half-naked protester running through a federal event, and a Justice Department that treats the Constitution like a suggestion. But sure — it’s Trump who’s the problem.
And let’s not forget that Biden once tried to invent a new constitutional amendment out of thin air. Yet he dares to lecture anyone about upholding the Constitution. Maybe he should spend less time yelling about Trump and more time explaining how his family made millions off shady foreign business deals while he was vice president.
He also tried to blame Trump for “cutting assistance to 40 million Americans,” claiming the former president worsened hunger. In reality, it’s Biden’s own Democratic allies who keep voting to shut down the government — including the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) that Biden pretends to care about.
And then there’s the other story everyone’s talking about: the mysterious new bandage on Biden’s head. Just months ago, the White House claimed a similar bandage was due to skin cancer treatment. Now, a new one has appeared — but, as usual, there’s been radio silence from the press team. Transparency, anyone?
Honestly, it’s getting painful to watch. Biden’s handlers need to let him stay home and rest — maybe near a teleprompter and a nap schedule. Every time he speaks, it’s a reminder of how lucky this country is that Donald Trump is back in the fight and leading with strength, not stumbling with confusion.
Because let’s face it — when you compare Trump’s record of results to Biden’s trail of excuses, lies, and gaffes, the choice couldn’t be clearer. America doesn’t need more rambling speeches and mystery bandages. It needs leadership. And we already know who delivers that.
