Bill Gates Allegedly Sought Help From Epstein to Hide STD From Wife, DOJ Documents Reveal

The Department of Justice on Friday released more than 3 million pages of records connected to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, including a bombshell 2013 email draft in which Epstein claimed Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates asked him to delete messages about a sexually transmitted disease and obtain antibiotics to secretly give to his wife, Melinda.

The records were released under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, according to DOJ, and include millions of pages of documents along with thousands of videos and images.

In a July 18, 2013 draft email Epstein wrote to himself, he alleged that Gates asked him to “delete the emails regarding your std” and referenced “your request that I provide you antibiotics that you can surreptitiously give to Melinda.” The draft also made mention of “Russian girls,” raising further questions about the context of the alleged encounter.

The Justice Department cautioned that the massive document dump may contain “fake or falsely submitted” material, since it includes materials submitted by the public over several years. DOJ emphasized it is not vouching for the accuracy of any specific claim in the release and warned that some documents could be fabricated or misleading.

Still, the email adds to the long list of uncomfortable revelations surrounding Epstein’s elite social circle.

Gates has previously admitted to meeting with Epstein but said he eventually cut off contact. “I had dinners with him. I regret doing that,” Gates told PBS NewsHour in September 2021.

A DOJ letter to Congress accompanying the release stated that the department “erred on the side of over-collecting” and carried out multiple layers of review before publication, primarily to redact information identifying Epstein’s victims.

While the authenticity of Epstein’s claim remains unverified, the revelation underscores once again how deeply entangled powerful figures were with a convicted sex trafficker—and how many secrets may still be buried in his digital paper trail.
