Busted: Undercover Tapes Expose Democrat Talarico's 'Moderate' Act as Pure Deception

In a bombshell exposé just hours before Election Day, James O’Keefe’s O’Keefe Media Group has once again pulled back the curtain on political duplicity, releasing damning undercover footage from deep inside Democrat Senate nominee James Talarico’s campaign. The tapes reveal Talarico’s inner circle openly admitting his public “moderate” stance is nothing more than a calculated charade designed to mislead Texas voters.

The recordings, a testament to relentless investigative journalism, capture key figures—including Williamson County Democrat Party Chair Kim Collins Gilby, the purported father of Talarico’s girlfriend, and a regional organizer—making a stark distinction between what Talarico preaches on camera and the radical agenda they claim he truly harbors.

Kim Collins Gilby is heard on tape detailing Talarico’s true colors, stating he “will not vote to close… the border” and even suggests he'd put “a welcome mat out at our border.” This is a direct contradiction to the image Talarico cultivates on the campaign trail and in national media, where he has brazenly declared, “I’m a border security Democrat,” and even criticized the Biden administration for “not securing the border.” The hypocrisy is breathtaking.

Gilby went further, describing Talarico’s comments on controversial issues like transgender surgeries for minors during a CNN town hall as a deliberate attempt “to make himself appear more centrist.” Her candid confession? “He’s very liberal,” she admitted, adding the telling phrase, “we’ve got to get elected so that we can do something.” Because of course, the “something” they want to do is never what they openly advertise to the voters they seek to represent.

The deception deepens with Matt Menard, identified as the father of Talarico’s girlfriend, Brianna Menard. He bluntly advised the undercover journalist not to “put too much stock into border security comments,” asserting that Talarico is “not going moderate” but is, in fact, “a progressive.” Menard also claimed Talarico supports a pathway to citizenship for everyone and would “absolutely stop” current ICE enforcement tactics if Democrats managed to seize control of Congress. The curtain has been peeled back on the left’s open-border agenda.

Adding another layer to this narrative of deceit, Travis County Democrat Party regional organizer Andhi Beltran Garcia echoed the sentiment, admitting Talarico would “play the middle ground because he’s in Texas” on abortion, despite holding “a lot more progressive” private views. The reach of O’Keefe’s reporting, even into the candidate’s personal circle, highlights the crucial role independent media plays in exposing the truth establishment outlets often ignore.

This isn't O’Keefe Media Group’s first rodeo. Just last month, undercover footage exposing a Michigan Democrat Senate nominee's regional field organizer discussing alleged foreign donations led to the staffer’s swift termination. O’Keefe’s October surprise series consistently pulls back the veil on the radical left’s shadowy tactics, providing voters with the unfiltered truth they deserve.

As Texas voters head to the polls on Tuesday to choose between Talarico and Republican nominee Ken Paxton, the state’s Attorney General, these newly released tapes are now part of the public record. They lay bare the calculated deception of a Democrat candidate attempting to hide his true progressive colors from a conservative state. The question for Texans is simple: will they reward such blatant dishonesty, or will they demand accountability and elect leaders who stand for American values, border security, and transparency?
