A lot of words have been used recently to describe the presidential campaign of Vice President Kamala Harris, particularly if one is not a fan of Harris. One of the frequent criticisms assigned to Harris’s campaign is its seeming lack of authenticity. From her sudden epiphany on multiple political matters to the way she was appointed as the Democratic presidential nominee to the exposed lies and deceptions of her running mate, Gov. Tim Walz (D-MN), much of what surrounds Harris doesn’t appear to be real. Often, it seems there’s a certain mysterious fakeness to her.
The most recent example is her much-ballyhooed “interview” with CNN commentator Dana Bash last Thursday. Largely promoted as Harris’s first sit-down interview with a member of the media, which she, oddly, did alongside Walz, it was little more than a prerecorded, propagandized conversation, obsequious agitprop, rather than a legitimate interview. And even though the interview was prerecorded, CNN still branded it as “live” during the telecast.
Except it wasn’t live. And the entire interview wasn’t aired. There was more than meets the eye, which is in line with seemingly everything around Harris. It seems that every time Harris gives some kind of political address, people should be waiting for a little dog to pull back a curtain somewhere while a voice declares, “Pay no attention to that person behind the curtain.”
The same could be said about CNN in this case. The cable news network, which had its credibility shattered long ago, and which recently became a punchline for (lack of) objectivity in media, for some reason categorized the discussion with Harris as “live” during its broadcast. Yet, the fact that it was not live was well-known. It made no sense to do so and was indicative of just how deceptive Democrats and their accomplices in the media are when it comes to trying to fool the people in this country.
It’s all a big ruse, a performance, an illusion, such as a giant floating head over an altar featuring shooting flames, smoke, and intimidating sound effects, and speaking with a scary, loud voice. Harris and Walz are both complicit in promoting their web of misinformation. Neither cares about legitimately informing the public. Their sole objective is to indoctrinate the masses and influence public opinion through controlled messaging of the population. Their goal isn’t to inform and educate. It’s to brainwash and indoctrinate.
